Hello, I bought this incredible vehicle 9 months ago. I have driven 6,200 miles and used 12 gallons of gas thus far. I average between 34-40 miles on an electric charge. Once the batteries are depleted a small engine starts to generate electricity for the two electric motors. Then the Volt basically operates like a conventional vehicle averaging 30 city and 40 highway miles per gallon gasoline. It cost @ $1.30 in electric to drive @35-40 miles. I am still driving the vehicle so the mileage will increase. I will have two children in college this fall. I need to sell possessions for tuition. I paid $42,476 for this car in August 2012. Yes, I did get $7,500 back on the purchase from the Feds. This Volt is in absolute mint condition. I am very particular with my possessions. The premium or extras which this vehicle has are: leather perforated seats, heated driver and passenger seating, leather wrap steering wheel, rear view camera, and ultrasonic park assist, polished aluminum wheels, crystal red tin coat paint and exterior and interior xzilon protection (another $595). Other features are: CD player, mp3 touch screen link up, OnStar, XM radio service, cruise, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth, USB port, Sorry no navigation. A 120 volt charger comes with the vehicle. I also have a 220 volt charger that may be purchased separately. Please see the window sales brochure for all of the features on this vehicle. The 6500 mile service was completed at the dealership last week which involved tire rotation and a complete inspection with a clean bill of health. This car is always garaged when not in use.
