Up for auction is my 1998 Honda Accord LX. I am the second owner of this car and it has been my pride and joy for the past 10 years. But with my new pride and joy, my big 2 month old baby boy, and bills to pay it has come time for me to part with her. This car is currently my daily driver and it has taken me awhile to finally decide to actually post. I have added many accessories to this car over to the years to get her where she is today and hope she goes to a home that will care for her as much as I have. As the photos show she has minimal wear and tear for a 15 year old car. There are scratches, clear coat peeling, a slightly dented bumper, etc. As I look online at similar aged cars, I have noticed that this car is actually quite clean compared to others posted. The A/C blows ice cold and the interior is almost flawless. I want to also let all potential buyers know that this car has an after market exhaust system, a Magnaflow Performance cat-back. This exhaust system has made the car have a deep throaty tone and is not a high pitched fart can muffler. To many they will appreciate the almost muscle car sound, but to others it could be loud. Although this car has several added performance parts, it is in no way fast and furious. This is a cruiser. A beautiful raisin pearl cruiser which to the right buyer has a lot of life left. The car does not smoke, but to anyone who knows anything about these F23 motors they tend to burn oil. I always have an extra quart with me and check it every couple fill ups. There is no check engine light on, but about 500 miles ago the car threw a P0470 CEL, which was cleared and has not resurfaced. This generation of Honda cars has had many known transmission issues and only occasionally have I noticed a slight hesitation in shifting but nothing more. Very easily done. I can show you when you pick it up. Also, for some reason the driver’s door lock just started acting up. The lock needs to be locked manually. It controls the other doors fine, but for some reason I need to use the key to open that door from the outside. I am going to try to look at it, but I thought I would keep this posting updated.
