Acceptable forms of payment are cashier’s checks made payable to the City of Colorado Springs, wire transfer, and cash at time of pick-up. Payments can be accepted in-person or by regular mail. All sales are final. Failure to make payment or failure to remove the property, within the terms allowed, is considered breach of contract. In such an event, the Buyer shall lose all right, title, and interest which he/she might otherwise have acquired in and to such property as to which a default has occurred. Loading and Removal of Property All purchases must be removed from the auction site within 14 days of the end of the auction unless other arrangements have been made. Shipping or the removal of property will be allowed only after full payment has been received by Seller. Unless otherwise stated, buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary to effect removal of the property. Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Seller for any and all damages, claims or liability for injuries to persons or property caused during the sale or by the removal of the item. Loading hours are 7:30-11:30AM and 12:30-2:45 PM, Monday-Friday, by appointment only. These hours exclude Colorado Springs Utilities observed holidays. Damages Unless otherwise stated, Seller will be responsible for the care and protection of the property subsequent to it being available for inspection and prior to its removal. Any loss, damage, or destruction occurring during such period will be adjusted at Sellers discretion not to exceed the original purchase price to the extent it was not caused directly or indirectly by the Buyer, its agents, or employees.
