I am relisting this item because of a NON-PAYING bidder. For those of you who don't know how this works, ask yourself 3 questions BEFORE placing a bid. #1 Am I 100% positive that this is the item that i want ? #2 Do I have the cash in hand to pay for this item directly after the auction ends ? #3 Do I have the means to get to a small town about 25 miles south of Buffalo NY to hand over the cash to the seller when I pick up the bike ? If you can't answer yes to all 3 of these questions then please do me a favor and don't waste mine and legitimate buyer's time. It's really that simple. I have owned this bike for 2 years. To the best of my knowledge I am the 3rd owner. This bike is in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically. I had it professionally painted and the guy did a beautiful job, however, it is not the stock color. I had a Saddleman seat cover professionally installed by a guy who earns a living creating custom leather seats and he also did a beautiful job. The seat looks better than the new one except for the tiny tear I put in it which I have shown in a picture. Here is a list of the most extensive service this bike has seen. This service was done by a reputable Honda dealer in my area 4/23/09. inspect fuel lines, check throttle operation,check and clean air filter (I replaced last year),inspect crankcase breather,change spark pugs(I replaced last year), inspect carb synchronization,check idle speed,check coolant,change final drive oil,inspect brake fluid and pad wear,inspect brake system,inspect all lights and switches,inspect clutch system,inspect suspension,inspect steering head bearings, R&R front calipers,tore down and cleaned, flushed and bled brake system,installed STAINLESS STEEL brake lines. There are no issues with this bike. Cosmetically it is certainly not perfect but it is very nice and it is all there if you wanted to take it further into a restoration. Mechanically it is great. It starts right up with just a stab at the starter and idles great once it warms up. It clicks into neutral with no problems and goes through the gears nicely. All the gauges and switches work properly, tires are good, battery is good, this bike is ready to ride just the way it sits. I put a low handlebar on it because I prefer the handling and the looks but I believe I still have the stock bars and stock mirrors. If this is a concern for you please send me a message and I will verify that I have them. (if I have them and you want them i will include them) When I switched the handlebars, I didn't shorten the cables. I mention this because that may bother some people, it doesn't bother me. I also have a Clymer shop manual that I will include. I'd love to keep this bike but I just don't get a chance to get on it much and need the room. FOR ANYONE USING BUY IT NOW I WILL INCLUDE 2 BARELY USED HJC CS-5N MATTE BLACK HELMETS that are in like new condition, size large. I will require a $300 deposit thru PAY-PAL 24 hours after auction end. Balance to be paid in CASH ONLY at time of pickup within 7 days of Auction End.
