Vehicle Detail

'64 Impala Super Sport - 2 door hardtop. This is a true SS car and not a clone. 327 V8, auto trans, power steering, power brakes, console, and air conditioning (although not currently working). The body is very nice on the car but the paint is old. It still holds a deep shine but it has a few places where the paint is bubbling. It looks to be be more of a bad paint prep issue than rust repair. It doesn't seem to be the case of bondo filling holes. I took close up photos of the bad spots (and the metal on the other side too if possible). The car was painted in about 1991, drive it as is or take it to the next level and paint it when you can/want/feel the need to. The frame, floor pans, trunk pan, rockers etc all look very good and solid (see photos). The car runs and drives good. It starts right up everytime and runs nice and cool. The motor is stock aside from a recently installed, slightly larger "RV" Crane cam. The transmission is a TH-350 automatic. The interior is in good overall condition but does show wear. It has just enough wear to still look good but to be useable without worries. I took a close up photo of the numbers on the front of the motor (believed to be a 65), trim tag, and vin number. This is a factory air car. The compressor was removed by the previous owner and is in the trunk. Mileage stated is just what is showing on the odometer and not deemed actual. Clear Ky title in my name. Either left alone and enjoyed just like it is, or restored to it's original glory, this is one pretty '64 SS. Being sold with a low reserve - Over 90 photosQuestions? Email or call Tim 270-799-8388 Questions? Email, call, or text Tim - 270-799-8388 This is the worst spot on the car. The inside of the lip feel crisp. I think this is caused more by bad paint prep than rust repair. The panels look good on the inside looking out. The bottom of the driver's fender - I think this is more of a dent repair than a rust repair. The metal feels solid all around and doesn't look rusted out when you look from the inside out. The paint makes it look worse than it is. Floors, trunk, rockers etc are all very nice and solid. Questions? Feel free to email or call Tim 270-799-8388
