I am selling my 1999 BMW R1100R it is in excellant condition. It has ABS brake system. I bought it two years ago from the first owner,a lawyer in Illinois, and have only ridden it a couple thousand miles. Neither of us have ridden the bike hard. It has been well taken care of, garaged and serviced. It has low mileage, 15972 miles. It has never been wrecked or layed down. There are no mechanical defects, it runs great. Comes with right and left BMW lockable panniers, both are keyed to the ignition key. One panier's hinge has been repaired in the past but it is solid and works fine. Comes with Throttlemeister grip end friction style cruise control. Comes with a battery tender and cover. I replaced the battery with a new Optimus Gel battery last year. Comes with the BMW windscreen, some slight hazing and fine scratches, nothing major. Paintwork is excellant, one fine scratch on the tank and a couple small scuffs. Seat is great, no tears or holes. One scratch on the cylinder head from rubbing on something while rolling out of the garage. The tires are Metzler Z-6s, have good wear left on them, they have just under 8000 miles on them. Comes with the original tool kit, manuals and service records. Had 12000 mile inspection @ 13000 miles where the BMW dealer changed spark plugs, seals, fluids and brake pads. The bike is ready to ride also, changed oil and filter a hundred miles ago with Mobile 1, all fluids checked, it is ready to ride.
