Vehicle Detail
Great condition GoldWing. Sells WITH the trailer. Wife and I took it on a 5500 mile trip last year up to Calgary Canada and down the US coast to the Redwoods and then home. Had no problems at all. It will be on a 4500 mile trip from to the Northeast US this summer if it doesn't sell but we have our eyes on a trike! As a used bike there are a few cosmetic things like some of the striping not complete, etc. but there are no cracks in the plastic. Everything works. The Wing has just over 49,100 miles on it but I ride it daily to work when Missouri weather permits. It should still be below 49,500 when the auction ends. Had it inspected the end of April for 2013 license. Passed no problems. Bike is well maintained! New timing belts at 35,000 miles. New fuel pump last year at about 38,000. New plugs, carb adjustments, tires and brakes just before the trip at about 39,000. New tires on the trailer about 1000 miles ago. New 80 amp alternator and gel battery about 100 miles ago. The old stock alternator works, I just don't like to see the lights dimming at idle. If you know anything about the 1500's you know the stock 40 amp alternator doesn't keep up with the juice used at idle. It sure does now! You can have the old alternator too. Let's see. It has lots of chrome stuff, ring of fire, CB, radio, cruise control, reverse, arm rests, back rest, adjustable rear foot rests, on board air compressor, lots of goodies. I also have a RAM mount on it for an old GPS that we use. Mount and GPS goes with the bike. Oh, we also have two Butler Cups that go with the bike. It also has Baker Air Wings (upper, lower, AND hand wings). If you do much touring, the air wings make a WORLD of difference in your comfort. Trailer is easy to pull. You don't really notice it's there unless you hit a bump and then you'll notice an extra little thump. We pulled ourselves on the bike (and we're talking about 220 pounds each) and the trailer box FULL of stuff on the trip which included going across Glacier National Park, around Rushmore, and lots of other mountains. Had no problems whatsoever. This bike handles it all. I've had this bike since 22,000 miles and bought it in August 2011 so you can see it runs and runs. Has lots of life in it. You have to pick it up or ride it home. Non-refundable $250 due within 24 hours of auction end and the balance within 7 days. Paypal is ok for the deposit. Cash only, no checks, no credit cards, no Paypal for the balance. BIKE AND TRAILER ARE FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION EARLY.
