***73 VOLKSWAGEN THING 60K ACTUAL MILES PRO RESTO READY TO ENJOY*** ***RUNS GREAT --- LOOKS GREAT --- AWESOME VEHICLE*** This is a beautiful 1973 Volkswagen Thing that has been professionally restored by York Sports Cars. The owner/restorer asked  me to list the vehicle. The car was stored for over 20 years in a garage. The Thing was completely disassembled and restored.  The floor pan was repaired and is rock solid. The original engine was remanufactured, a new clutch set was installed and the  transmission was checked out. It has new brakes, I-beam, steering box, tie rods, bearings, axles, clutch cable, throttle cable, gas  line, all brake lines, master and wheel cylinders, gas tank and sending unit, fuses and wiring replaced, switches - car is like  new. The interior was redone with high back bucket seats and a 250 watt AM/FM/CD stereo with four speakers. Sun visors are  new. The floor was painted with bed liner and covered with boat carpeting. The very little rust in the body was properly  repaired and it was painted its original bright yellow. It has new side windows and a new top.  There are new mirrors, antenna,  new lenses, new headlights, new bezels, new front and rear bumpers. The owner/restorer was fixing this Thing for himself but  plans have changed and he has decided to sell it. We invite serious bidders to check out the Thing in person. This is the best looking Thing I have seen. The owner added the 4 tip Monza exhaust Looks great with the bright yellow paint and new blackwall tires. You can drive it home. Engine was completely rebuilt and runs excellent. Show quality paint, new headlights and bezels, new bumper, car is like new and ready to enjoy. She's a beauty - trunk opens and closes easily as does the engine cover. Interior has black bucket seats in front and four on the floor. The seats were redone. It has all the seat belts. Owner installed the high back bucket seats. Seats are nice looking. This Thing is completely restored. Floors are solid, coated with bed liner and covered with boat carpet. It has the 009 distributor and new carburetor.
