This bike has only been cranked and warmed up and cooled back down 8 times before a short ride to insure correct operation. Bike has only been 1/4 throttle since assembly. Bike is not broken in yet. This bike is for an experienced rider only. They do not produce a modern motocross bike today with this much horsepower. This bike will literally blow past KTM 450's and 530's with no problem. This bike has been and still is very competitive in Hare Scrambles and Enduro's today, as I was winning all my classes on it before the rebuild. There is no modern dirt bike manufactured today except Service Honda CR 500’s that can match the power of this machine. This bikes enormous hit has been substantially smoothed by a heavy flywheel and Rekluse clutch and motor work done by the original owner who was an expert mechanic. Don't be fooled by the age of this Motorcycle. This bike handles well even by todays standards. This bike is in pristine condition, and I have way more love, time, and money in it than I am asking for it. I am the second owner. I bought this bike from a local expert mechanic and fellow rider. I was not given a certificate of origin when I bought it and was not concerned as he was a friend of mine and I knew the bikes history. I could not include the vin number because when I had the frame Powdercoated it filled in some of the numbers and the full vin number is not legible. If you want a Hare Scrambles or Enduro bike that will ensure a holeshot every time, then look no further. If you don’t like the looks of this bike you can make it your own with the brand new front and rear fenders and side plates still in the wrappers.
