This is my 1967 GMC CrewCab Pickup. It started life as a 1972 Suburban body, 1967 GMC pickup Cab, 1984 GMC 2500HD 2wd crewcab frame, and a 1971 Chevrolet bed. I started this project because I wanted a vehicle to take on the HotRod Power Tour that my family could fit in. As it has turned out, it has taken so long to finish, all my kids are grown. This truck is completely a one off custom. I have seen others done by individuals, but probably not more than two or three and this one is a top notch award winner. In 2010 it won Best Truck of show in the Durango Motor Expo. It has only ever been shown locally and is well received every time I take it out. Absolutely a head turner! As I stated, I built the truck myself, only farming out the paint, headliner/door panels, rebuilding of the axles and gauges. It has a 2003 6.0L and 4l80E with less than 3 miles on them when installed, the truck is built on a Heavy 3/4 ton frame with with a 4" all spring lift (no blocks) and 35" tires. I set the truck up to run up to 37" tires, but came across a great deal on the 35's. The 1972 suburban body was split behind the factory back door and window, then had the back of a 1967 pickup cab added. I have hundreds of pictures that I will provide digital copies of to the winning buyer.
