This a True Survivor truck.An all original Rare 1979 Ford F-250 Trailer special with the rare ranger lariat package.This truck has been a Georgia truck since new.It is a 2 owner truck.The last owner had had it for over 10 years and just used it around his property.It has 86K miles and this is supposed to be the right miles.I can not prove it but alot of things back it up.The Truck is equipped with a smooth,VERY strong running 460 4 brl and a c-6 automatic trans with a limited slip rear end.It has factory Tilt wheel and cruise(works)and working Dual tanks.It has working factory A/C.The truck is very tight and still drives good.It is still wearing it's original paint,it has NEVER been repainted,so what you see is what you get.Some surface rust on the hood,one small spot on the drivers floor(size of a half dollar)and a couple of very small spots on the rear quarter.The bed is solid and pretty straight.There is a dent up by the cab,that can be fixed.Looks like something slid into it.I have both factory towing mirrors and they are in excellent shape.They just need to be remounted.The tail gate opens and shuts easily.The rear chrome step bumper is bent but you might could straighten it.The front bumper is also bent alittle and has some surface rust.The spare tire is still under the bed.It still has it's complete original exhaust system although the original muffler needs replacing.The interior is original and in good shape for it's age, with some wear and tear on the drivers side of the seat.Carpet and head linner are still original too.Dash is good but has some small hair line cracks.All the gauges clear and work and the A/C and heat work.The dash lights and dome light still works.The tilt is still nice and tight.The motor is excellent and has no noises or major leaks.The carb has been recently rebuilt and runs good although the choke could use adjusting.The tires are 16" and are about 30% to the good.The brakes are good.The truck actually drives pretty good.It is still a tight old truck.All the glass is good with the exception of the rear slider,which has had a pane replaced with plexiglass.The doors open and shut like new and the windows roll up and down easily.I have some new door seals that will come with the truck.The vintage kenwood radio plays good and the speakers are fairly new.The body is very solid but has its share of dings.(See all photos). All the rare race track trim is present and in good shape.Other than the questionable tires,I believe this truck would drive anywhere,within reason.But as with all old vehicles I sell,I recommend transport for a long distance.It will drive onto a trailer or transport truck with no problem.The photos speak for themselfs on this one.If you have any question please ask before bidding. ********Please note my feedback and bid with confidence.I am pricing this for a quick sale with a fair low reserve.****Please check out my other items listed for sale**** Please note my feedback,I describe my vehicles as accurately as possible.
