This 1975 Ferrari Dino 308 GT4 is a nice low mileage vehicle. It has not had much use in the past 2 years but it does have maintenance history dating back to January of 2004 and some receipts from 2011 and 2010. The family that owns this Ferrari used to own a very reputable repair facility in the Sacramento area and took care of this 308. It has been in their family since 1994. This vehicle is listed in the Dino GT4 registry.
Exterior
The exterior of this Ferrari Dino 308 presents very well. The Paint is nice and shines well. This vehicle was driven so it does have some small chips and scratches. The two tone paint is silver and a very dark blue on the bottom portion. It appears almost black most of the time until the sunlight hits it just right. The panels all seem to be very solid and rust free. There is one spot where I did notice some bubbles just above the windshield (pictured). The panels are straight and I could not detect any body filler with a magnet. The front windshield has a crack around where the rearview mirror is mounted to the windshield and a small chip on the passenger side. The chrome trim is in good shape and does not have any bends or dents and the bumpers are in nice shape as well.
Interior
The interior of this 308 is in nice shape. The seats are clean and comfortable. A seat cover is on the drivers seat but the upholstery is near perfect underneath. The headliner looks to be original as it does show some signs of wear but is complete and does not have any rips or tears. The door panels are nice and clean but the drivers side does have a very small tear in the material. The dashboard is nice and is not faded. The carpets are also clean and are not faded. The center console is orderly but the manual choke lever is missing its knob.
Mechanical
This 308 runs well and drives as expected. The manual gearbox shifts nicely and the clutch has a firm feel to it. Electrically this Ferrari seems very sound. All of the gauges work as they should. The lights all work as they should as well. The 205/70R14 Michelin Energy MXV4 tires have good tread left. Two of the tires have build codes of 195 and two have build codes of 215 which shows that they were new in 2005. There arent any signs of cracks or aging on this vehicle as it has been stored in garage. The Cromodora wheels are in nice shape and do not have any curb rash on them.
Its last major service was performed at 36,428 miles which included timing belts, tensioner bearing, valve adjustment, all fluids changed, water pump, thermostat and crane ignition installed.
Overview
This Ferrari 308 GT4 is a great entry car into the luxury sports car market. These 308's value should increase over time as most other models have increased and may be getting out of reach for some. I have attached a copy of the list of repairs and service that this Ferrari has had since 2004.
This vehicle has mostly sat since 2011 and has only been driven a couple of times to keep things lubricated. I have tried to honestly describe this Ferrari to the best of my ability. If you have any questions please feel free to call.
