I had back surgery over a year ago and although I LOVE twins my spine can no longer tolerate the vibrations from them. So sadly I must part with my V-twins. I am going to try a 3 or 4 cylinder motorcycle instead so I may be open to a trade for something like a Triumph Speed Triple, Tiger or V4 Aprilia. The other V twin I'm selling is a big bore Buell XB12X (see my other eBay listing) My Repsol replica RC51 is described below: A 2000 Honda RC51 with only 4800 miles on it. I purchased it with 300 miles on it from a guy that was intimidated by the bikes power. The motor is still all stock except the following mods: I did the air filter modification recommended by Kyle racing and I Installed the Kyle Racing's intake air flapper valve removal kit, a Jardine dual high mount exhaust, a Power Commander and had it professionally dyno tune. The bikes suspension has been professionally gone though and it handles like a dream. The most dramatic improvement in handling occurred when we installed the: Kyle Racing dog bone lower shock mount, the Scott's steering damper anda higher profile 55 series 180 rear tire I installed the Repsol body work and had the tank, undertail and trunk lid painted to match. I saved the original tank and purchased a later year tank with the Nicky Hayden tribute on it. When I had the tank painted I had the body shop pin stripe and paint around the existing Nicky Hayden tribute signature (see picture). I'm 6' 4" so I added a set of: Heli clip on bars that gave me slightly more of an upright position and after I installed theSato rear sets that I installed a custom milled block of aluminium with threaded holes in it to relocate the foot pegs down and back even more to gain extra leg room. I have not had any peg dragging problems to date but if you want to raise them up again you can either remove the added plates or simply adjust the height by relocating the adjustable mounting bolts. Other goodies: Just installed a new Ballistic light weight battery Rear Wave rotor not mounted yet Flush mount front blinkers, Texas fairings undertail with LED blinkers Ducati Yamaha Honda Susuki Triumph Aprilia BMW KTM XB12 XB12X XB9 R1 SP!
