1964 Mercury Comet Caliente. This is a car you don’t see every day especially with air ride and 18’’ Billet wheels. This is an original K code car with the 289 motor that was gone through about 2000 miles ago and the same with the automatic transmission. The motor is dressed up like a super Cyclone motor and also has headers. The motor sits in a very clean engine compartment that looks great. The car has the unmistakable 2 hood scoops hood that are actually functional and really looks good. The car is a very nice car but isn’t a 100 point show car. It has its minor flaws in it like most cars that are driven so if you are looking for a 100 point show car don’t look at this one! I also don’t want to under sell the car because it is a definite head turner and a crowd pleaser everywhere I take it. It wins its share of Trophies at the local car shows so It’s not a piece of junk and it does really look good. The trunk is very solid and it still has the original trunk mat in it that looks new. The underside is pretty clean but there are a few small floor patches but there aren’t any holes. I have included a few pictures of the underside overall it is pretty nice but again I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t mention it. The car really runs great and sounds good with the dual exhaust and flow master mufflers. The interior is in fantastic shape and the turn signals head lights, gas gauge,blower motor, wipers and dome light all work. The car gets it’s great stance because it has air ride By Air Ride Technologies on the car and can be lowered and also lifted to your taste. The wheels are 18’’ Billet Specialties Mag wheels and look great on the car. This is a very nice car a great cruiser and a blast to drive. I can guarantee you won’t see many of these anywhere you take it you will probably be the only one with one like it.
