1968 Mustang S Code Original Acapulco Blue 390 4v C6 Original GT Equipment Car Overall Real Solid Ford 9” Rearend Have the original buck tag All VIN’s match Clear Title Click the link below to view additional pictures of the car. http://s1228.photobucket.com/user/mtdubvee/library/1968%20Mustang%20GT%20S%20Code%20390%20Coupe You are bidding on a 1968 Mustang “S” Code 390 GT coupe. The car was originally Acapulco blue with blue interior. This is an original 390 4V C6 GT equipment group car. This car was originally ordered out of Charlotte, NC and spent most of its life in the warm dry area of South Carolina. Comes with the original driveshaft, extra grill, NEW motor mounts, extra set of hood inserts. The S code coupes are limited production cars. This car nicely restored, would be a good investment, and the S codes these days command are really climbing in price. Get this one now at a good price! Now here is a run down of the car. Body: Overall really solid. Floor pans - It definitely needs floor pans, but which mustang doesn’t these days. Frame Rails – Extremely solid front and rear. Torque Boxes – Also solid front and rear. Hood – Underneath of front side is rusty. Hinges are good. Turn signals inserts are good. Fender Aprons – Battery apron needs replaced. All other Aprons are solid. Shock Towers – Factory reinforced shock towers, and are very solid. Radiator support – solid, but the bottom cross member needs replaced. Fenders – Solid. Passenger side has some dents in it Doors – Rust in bottom lower front. Same spot as in all of the others. Rockers – Solid Quarters – Overall real solid. A few little rust pinholes around the wheel wells. Could just take a repair, Doesn’t need quarters. Smooth and straight also. The very bottom behind the tires also need a small repair. Wheelhouses – Solid overall –Still a lot of undercoating on these. Roof – Smooth and Solid Trunk lid – Some rust holes where the rear trim was, but otherwise smooth and solid. Inner Trunk – All the channels are very solid where the quarters meet etc. Inside Trunk – Overall very solid. Engine: 390 2V with a C4. Ran when pulled but I would recommend that while its out to run through it and check it out. It’s not a GT engine. I do not have the original C6. Grille- Original GT grill with fog lights. Emblems and Gas Cap – Original Emblems with original GT flip down gas cap. Gauges – Original with electric clock option. Brakes – Power Disc on the front, drums on rear. Overall, this is a very solid car and would make a real nice S Code big block 390 mustang when restored. The value of these S codes is really going up. Would be a perfect restoration candidate and you wouldn’t have to tear it down to nothing in order to make that perfect car. Please feel free to ask any questions. I can assist with shipping if the buyer wants to ship the car in the US or internationally, it doesn’t matter. Car rolls, and steers easily. Located in MT. Hope, WV 25880. Thanks and happy Bidding!
