Very nice '99 Valkyrie interstate. Comes with helmets, cover, some tools. The previous owner went all out on the chrome and trim. Sharp looking bike. I bought it with 19,000 plus miles on it and rode it quite a bit for the first two years. It now has 31,531 on it. If you know much about these machines, thirty thousand is considered just broke in. These engines run forever. Then.. three years ago I had knee surgery and have not recovered my range of motion in my knee enough to allow me to ride. I've tried it a few times, but very uncomfortable, so I decided rather than just let it set up and remind me of my limitations, I'd sell it. I regret that I didn't start it all winter, so I'm sure the carbs need a good cleaning and synchronizing. When I first started it after a few months setting up, It acted like it was flooded. It overflowed some gas from the top of the carbs, but it cleared up and I've started it several times since and it runs good. If we had a decent shop here in Lake Charles La. I would take it in, but unfortunately, I don't know of any local shops that I have confidence in. It also needs some cosmetic TLC on a few of the chrome/plastic covers like the oil stick cover and a couple more where the chrome/plastic is bubbling up. There is a strawberry sized rub on the paint on the cowling where I let it rub against the side of a trailer when I trailered it to Colorado in 2009. Maybe a couple more scuff marks, but overall the condition of the paint is good. The basic maintenance... oil changes were always done with full synthetic oil and HONDA or Wix filters. I have very solid confidence in this engine and machine in general. If you have access to a good shop, get the carbs tuned, put a new rear tire on it (about 40% left on rear tire), keep up the oil changes, and drive this machine a couple hundred thousand miles.
