I am selling my 1970 Triumph Bonneville T120R. I bought the bike about 3 years ago from a private collection outside Chicago,Il. The bike had a complete restoration by the owner at that time. The frame was powder coated as were most of the other black parts. It had a pristine rear rim. The front rim had a couple of spots so I purchased a new one from England and laced it with stainless spokes. The previous owner had installed a set of OEM tires. I replaced them with new Dunlop K70. The gauges were rebuilt as was the entire motor and gearbox. It was updated to a 5 speed. It had a complete wiring harness installed. I added the turn signals and oil gauge for my own personal touches. The oil pressure is 30psi at warm idol. It had new sprockets, chain, brakes, cables, seat cover and foam Ect. Ect.. The bike was repainted to the origional colors and stripes. All in all it was a very complete restoration. As is usually the case when I received the bike there were a few items that were overlooked. I completely rebuilt the front suspension and had the carbs and final tuning done by Donnelson Cycle in St. Louis Mo. Mr Donnalson is one of the formost Triumph dealers in the midwest. Donnelsons also installed new rocker boxes and seals. the old rocker boxes are always wore at the shafts and leak. The bike has always had Morris Golden Film oil used in it. I did the break-in on the motor and put most of the 1958 miles showing on the speedo. The bike is numbers matching. The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. If balance is paid thru paypal buyer pays additional 2%. The bike is available for inspection by buyer or his agent. The bike is well sorted out and in pristine condition.
