bikerbabeinc store 1971 Camaro SS 427 1971 Chevrolet Camaro SS For sale is my camaro that’s in good condition, perfect for someone looking for a car to drive and not be afraid to hurt it, or have an excellent base to make an award winning show car! I am currently building a new home and need to clear out some of my toys and free up some space before the move, my loss is your gain. I have gone back and forth on keeping it because I love this car and its amazing, but my hand is now forced so here it is! This car has had a lot of work done, quite a bit of parts have been replaced and is in overall good condition. You could put a little work into it and have one amazing street car. I am always try to be completely honest with anything I’m selling on here, especially with items like cars. I want whoever ends up with it to be as happy as I am. I take price in my eBay rating. Here is a list below of the positives and negatives of the car so you know exactly what you are getting. Actual milage is unknown just like most of these old cars. Paint: The paint is in good shape there are superficial scratches as you can see in some of the pictures along with some minor chipping. From 5 feet away it looks awesome just like in the pics. Drive it like it is and not be afraid to hurt it. The paint job is about 8 years old. It gets looks wherever it goes! Body: The body overall is in really good condition. The lines are strait; the doors open and close well for how big they are. Frame: The frame is in excellent shape, I took photos under the car of the frame so you could see there is barely any rust if any at all. Suspension: The suspension is in good shape, I took photos of it. It has a nice smooth ride, nice and firm. Steers without a problem. I have included a set of front lowering springs that are brand new from summit, I was planning on putting them on to get that perfect stance, and they will go along with the car. Motor: The motor is a big block 454 that was resleeved to a 427. It runs like a raped ape, the motor is one of the strongest things with the car. There is tons of power. The one negative to the car is it looks like when the motor was put in, larger motor mounts should have been installed instead of reusing the old ones, I would recommend replacing the, at some point just for safety reasons if you plan on really getting into the power, because there are tons of it. There are photos of the motor itself. It starts up every time warm or cold. This is probably the easiest starting classic I have owned. Transmission: The Trans is a th350, this is probably the weakest part of the car. The Trans leaks just slightly if it’s not moved for a while, which almost all of these old cars do I swear. The ratchet shifter that is in currently is on its way out, I bought a new b and m ratchet shifter to go in its place, and it’s new in the box and will go with the car. It is in the pictures with the lowering springs. I never got around to putting it in but will be going with it. The shifter has its own console which will give it a great look besides just function. I planned on switching over to a new 6 speed Trans in the future, at some point a stronger Trans should be installed with the amount of power the car has. Wheels and Tires: A brand new set of Boss wheels were put on the car, 20 x 10 in the rear with 18 x 8 in the front with a brand new set of Nitto tires. If you look in the pictures you can still see the stickers on the tires! When I say brand new I mean literally brand new. I put them on this winter while the car wasn’t being driven and in the garage, they maybe have 30 miles on the. Interior: The interior is in decent shape. The rear seats are in really good shape and can be left as is, the passenger seat is good as well. The driver seat has some tears and splits as you can see in the pictures, all the rest are good. The carpet is in decent shape. The headliner is great in this car; it can be seen in the photos. Door panels have some light scratching and wear. There isn’t a radio currently installed. Some of the gauges aren’t working and may need to be hooked up depending on what you use is for the car. The new shifter going with the car will look amazing with its own console. VIDEO: I have attached a video of the car so you can see this is a good starting running car with a walk around of it. I want to give as much information as I can. It sounds mean! Here is a link to the video: http://youtu.be/M_AT0HBd_jw Overall this is one mean camaro and will make anyone happy to own it. The only things that may need to be done to this car is the new shifter installed (the one now does work just tight shifting) which a new one comes with the car, check over the trans and maybe put new motor mounts in if you plan on racing it. This isn’t a car you need to put a big investment into, the only reason I am selling is I am currently building a new home and some of the toys must go. I don’t have the time or money to keep going with it. If you have any questions feel free to message me. The reserve price is set WELL BELOW the buy it now price! Someone is going to get this car at a heck of a price. I have title in hand for a quick sale!
