listing this car for my brother in law. Still cant believe that he is selling it, as he has chased off more people from his property for inquiring about it....... 1968 Chevelle SS 396 4 speed car for sale. My brother in law found another car that he wants, so this one is on the block after many years. Car has the M-21 4 speed trans. He tells me it is a numbers matching car. Been off the road for many years. Solid quarters and rocker panels. The car has rust in the floors and trunk, however he has a new truck pan in place, (needs welded in), and floors. Drivers pan replacement is there, just needs welded in. All glass is there, but windshield has a crack. Trunk lid has some rust on the lip, as does the SS hood. SS hood is missing the chrome inserts, but you can find them aftermarket. 12 bolt rear with unknown gears. He has the seats, back seat looks ok, as does the front. Front seat is a bench, not sure if it is original to the car. I think it was a light yellow originally with a black interior.....not sure, look at the trim tag. Unknown condition on the engine, the person he bought it from said it was good. Great car to build, not alot of these left. It deserves to be finished. Will work on getting engine numbers and any numbers from the rear end
