For auction is a 1987 Honda Shadow VT700C. It runs good, starts fine and rides great. Tires have about 300 miles on them. New battery was put in last year. I will have owned this bike for almost 4 years now. It does have a few small problems with it. First it does have a very small oil leak. It leaks near the oil filter. Broke off the aluminum piece hanging in front of the filter. Was welded back on but still leaks a little once you turn off the engine(doesn't leak anything while riding). I have rode this bike with this little leak for 2 years now and have only needed to add oil a few times before riding, its a very small leak. Second is the starter button on the handle bar. It quit working and I couldn't find a new or used one to replace it anywhere. I wired in a horn button onto the handle bars to start the bike. Has been that way now for about 3 years and working just fine(can see in pictures). The tach on it works but it will not stay in the housing(see picture). It does have a dent in the upper right side of the tank(see picture) and a few small scratches on it. Seat has a small tear in it as well I have covered with tape(see picture). I do have a small windshield and cover that go with the bike(windshield is not on it right now). This is still a nice bike to ride anywhere you want to go and is ready to ride.
