There's not many of these remaining. I bought it from a local VW dealer 3 years ago. This could be your daily driver although I don't drive it much. It has no fuel gauge and the odometer doesn't work, so I don't know the mileage. It's 52 years old so take your own guess as to the mileage. I had the engine rebuilt last summer at a cost of $2K (I have all mechanical records for the past 3 years). According to the NADA Guide, it's current average retail value is $9550. It has some minor surface rust on bumpers and bonnet (see pictures). It's wired for a radio but doesn't currently have one. Everything works as it should. It's registered in Texas as an antique, so it needs no current inspection papers. I have a clear and current title though. This car is a blast to drive; I'm only selling it to generate some cash. I'm selling it locally so if you really want it, make me an offer I can't refuse and we'll terminate the auction early.
