Vehicle Detail
1990 Jaguar XJS V-12 Roadster Description Item Details: 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible First, I am not a dealer...I do, however, like to play with Classic Jaguars. This 1990 roadster belongs to a friend. He, like me, buys, sells and collects. He has another project he wants to devote his time to. Plus he is extremely busy and other major issues are occupying his time at the moment. This is a primo color combo. Black over Black with Tan and Black interior. The Leather Seating is in excellent condition. All leather any vinyl trim is original and in a"like new" condition. However, the armrest was replaced with a newly covered piece of leather. The wheels are "made expressly for Jaguar" original Dayton Wire Wheels. (Go to Dayton Wire Wheels and you can see that the car has over $2000 worth of wheels. The spare is also a wire. These chrome beauties really set off the car. The tires are almost new as well...so the rubber, belts and hoses are just fine. A Jaguar Mechanic just inspected the entire car and went over everything necessary to make it road ready. I spoke with the mechanic and he said that he would drive it anywhere..... There is one small crack in the dash...see photo....and a couple of the wooden trim (yes they were real that year) could stand replacing. I just had the ski slope replaced in my personal 92 XJS by British Autowood (www.britishautowood.com) Saul is absolutely a genius on re-veneering wood on British Classics like the Jag and Rolls. Small things like that are easily fixable...it would drive me crazy, but to someone wanting a classic V-12 Jaguar, it might be a small thing. The outside is also in very good condition. One very small bubble at the rear of the jamb on the driver's side. Two small spots where the clear coat has been polished into the paint. There are two pictures showing the area (2 of them) and they look like shadows, but they are small clear-coat fades. And, some deviate took a razor to the almost new top. There is about a 3 inch cut. We have spoken with a local top repair shop here in Panama City Beach. We decided to leave it alone and let the buyer address it. That way you can talk to the top man yourself. Now the Good News....My friend says SELL. Therefore the reserve is low and the BIN is a steal. I just paid $10K for a V-12 almost identical...but the burl walnut has been replaced. We are offering this BIN for $6250. WE ARE OFFERING IT AT NO RESERVE AND THE CAR IS SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALE!!!! BEFORE YOU EXERCISE A BUY IT NOW, PLEASE CONTACT US TO DETERMINE IF IT IS STILL AVAILABLE. This is a drive anywhere....daily driver....weekend car...mileage under 90k. What a grand car and what a grand opportunity. Now the car is not perfect, but it is a grand bargain for the opportunity to drive a classic. Please feel free to call and talk about it. The car was recently serviced and checked out...it is ready to drive anywhere. I will be happy to take it to a mechanic of your choice for any inspections (at buyer's expense) You can also call me at: James Williams 850 238 5999. About Lovin FL: On eBay, we are known as "lovin-fl!" And, we do! We are James Williams and "Boudreaux," my Hurricane Katrina refugee dog from New Orleans. Boudreaux survived Katrina. Unfortunately his mother did not. Boudreaux was saved by Second Chance Rescue from Ponce Inlet Florida and made his way to me at 8 weeks of age. Boudreaux is part everything! But most of all, he is all love! We have imported 1930's Art Deco Mantel clocks from Germany. We have bought, collected and sold fine vintage watches and late model Luxury Watches from Rolex to BlancPain . We have collected vintage, sterling silver fruit knives to fine sterling Ferrari writing instruments. We want your eBay experience with Boudreaux and me to be a very good one.
