Here is a rare piece of motorcycle history. There were 30-40 Rokon Flat Trackers built. According to original owner this was the last one out of the Rokon factory in Keene NH. Rokon debuted their flatrackers in July of 1976. One was raced on the west coast and the other was raced at Bryer Motorsport in Louden NH. Both bikes won their first Grand Prix event. Original owner debuted the Rokon and tied the track lap record during testing. For payment for debuting the bike at Louden he was promised a new FT340. When the Rokon Flat Track campain ended in 1978 he went to the factory and was presented THIS bike during a small ceremony as promised. The bike has a total of appoximately 1/2 hour run time. It was taken once to Bryer Motorsports during a vintage weekend took a some laps on the track in 2003. The bike was properly pickled and put away. Since my ownership I have not so much as dusted it. It is ORIGINAL condition and I'd bet it is probably the best original out there. Out of 30-40 built I've found 5 doing some extensive reseach. The bike will be sold with a little write-up from the original owner. The winning bidder will be given the owner's name and he would be happy to share and other info about the bike.
