Vehicle Detail

1979 Triumph Bonneville 750 One Owner Factory Original motorcycle. Frame and engine numbers match .Bike was partially dismantled for a mild cosmetic freshen up 15 yrs ago and as things happen it wasn't completed. The bike does not run at this time yet has good compression and lights do work. This bike was running fine at the time it was put in storage. This bike has always been kept inside and the original paint and chrome show it The tank does have a light amount of surface rust inside that should clean up easily. The original mufflers are in great shape. I bought this bike new in Mphs, Tn in 1984 and have the one owner title. The motorcycle is being Sold As-is No Warranty the bike is available for local pick up Shipping will have to be arranged by winner of auction $500.00 deposit within 24 hrs of auction close balance due within 72 hours of auction close unless other arrangements are made . Just a personal note this motorcycle has been baby'd it's entire life. All services done at recommended interval. No aftermarket parts for as long as I could get O.E.M. parts. Thanks for lookingOn Apr-04-13 at 17:36:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I only sell to the United Staes any bids from out of this country will b cancelled Scott/KellercycleOn Apr-06-13 at 07:52:16 PDT, seller added the following information: Hey folks as of this morning IT RUNS. I took a small amount of gas down the cylinders with a hot battery and the Triumph ran until the fuel was gone.. Scott/KellercycleOn Apr-06-13 at 14:32:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I've received some questions concerning how disassembled the bike is. The instruments need to to be reinstalled,The pipes need to be fully attached and other than that the bike is in one piece. As far as getting it running it's going to require the repairs a motorcycle that has been in long term storage will need. Carbs are going to be neede to be cleaned new battery it is going to need a new ignition switch. As any mechanic will tell you until someone starts the process there are no set answers to the question [what's it going to take?] As I stated before the bike ran fine before being put in storage and I did get it to run breifly earlier today. I know it's hard to bid on a picture yet I am willing to answer any questions concerning this bike. I appreciate everyone looking at my bike and the questions i have receved. Thanks Scott/KellercycleOn Apr-07-13 at 07:28:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I don't want to mislead anyone on this bike. Don't expect a motrcycle you can put a key in and ride. Earlier when I said it runs means that with direct feed of fuel the engine ran for seconds. It is NOT a correctly running motorcycle at this time. It is going to require work to make it a rider.
