VIN: 1GCGR23K2JJ135246 DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one used 1988, Custom 20 Chevrolet Crew Cab pickup truck, and this rating means that this is considered a ¾ - ton truck. THIS TRUCK IS BEING SOLD AS “PARTS ONLY”. It was formerly Highway Department yellow and has been repainted white. It has the 5.7 Liter (350 c.i.) V8 Gasoline engine and it is mated up to the 4-speed manual transmission. This transmission is sometimes referred to as a ‘bulldog’ transmission. There is no battery on this truck. This Chevy truck needs a new clutch kit and the rear axle tries to lock up. The engine runs hot. The odometer is showing 48,418 miles but I understand that it has very HIGH mileage. So the odometer MAY be broken or the odometer has flipped over past 100,000 miles once or twice. Either way, this truck has very high mileage. The tire size is LT235/85R-16. The front bumper has a small dent in the center and it is scratched. The entire truck has a film over it. It could be mold or mildew from where is has been parked. The paint has chips in it and it is scratched all over. Drivers mirror is broken. Driver door does not latch properly. BOTH rear fenders and/or quarter panels have rust-through around the rear wheel wells. Driver side rear tire is flat. The rear bumper has chips in the paint and it is scratched up and also has been bent and dented. The bumper has a Pintle type Hitch attached to it. The tailgate is scratched and has chips in the paint and is rusted. The top has some holes in it, probably from antennas from two-way radios. Passenger side is all scratched up and has chips in the paint and has some rusty spots along the rocker panel and in the bottom of the doors. The passenger side rear quarter panel also has several dents in it. The interior has only an AM Radio. There is NO Air Conditioner. On the driver’s door, the arm rest is broken and the window handle is broken. The floorboard has a LOT of rust-through and has been sort-of repaired (patched) with metal. The dome light is gone and the rear seat is in bad shape. The passenger door arm rest has the pad missing. The driver’s seat has tears or rips in it and it is worn. Our Blue entrance sign will be after you pass the lake on the left. Again, there is good signage to the institution. Anyone interested in seeing vehicles please come during normal business hours of M-F 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Please call the institution in advance prior to coming and make an appointment.
