I am selling my Black 2006 Triumph Scrambler. This bike has been my personal rider for several years and I am the second owner. This bike is in excellent condition and has many tasteful and functional upgrades. All added parts are quality and all work was done professionally. The bike only has 12,878 miles and is ready to ride. I love vintage motorcycles but they are not always easy to keep on the road, so the thought was to take a newer extremely reliable bike and give it that old school look and feel. The Scrambler was perfect for this because it’s durable enough to handle the New England roads, engine is large enough to cruise on the highway, it’s agile enough for the city and with the added luggage it can handle extended road trips. I love this bike but it’s time to buy a house!! I get compliments on the bike all the time; most people think it is vintage. The new owner will not be disappointed and will enjoy this bike as much as I have for many more years. Body/Tank/Seat: There is no rust at all and the bike has always been stored indoors. It was a rider so there are signs of use but there is no damage at all and the bike has always been serviced and cared for. The tank, side covers, and fenders were professionally painted Hot Road Matte Black and lots of parts were professionally powder coated for durability. The seat is new and looks great and no tool bolts have been added for quick removal. The Ventura luggage rack system is designed specifically for the Scrambler and is very durable with many configurations; (see pictures) this setup was very expensive but does the job and was worth every penny. The left side luggage suit case is Triumph OEM. All bags have rain protectors also shown in pictures. The Tank was professionally coated inside for longer life, the badges were updated to give the old school look, gas cap is machined aluminum, and the petcock is new. There are many upgrades so please see the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. Controls/Brake/Suspension: All the controls work as they should and the brakes are in good working order. The blinkers have been updated to Lucas style lights and relocated for a more vintage look. The bulky tail light was replaced and the rear blinkers were also relocated. The head light works as it should but I have always wanted to upgrade to a brighter light because the added rock guard seems to reduce the illumination. Suspension is stock and is very tight. I found no reason to upgrade; the stock suspension is perfect in my opinion. Engine/Exhaust/Fuel l& Air: The bike has an 865cc parallel twin DOHC engine. The engine runs perfect and was just serviced with new oil, filters, and plugs. The carbs, air box and exhaust have not been modified and are all stock. The engine covers were professionally powder coated and all gaskets were replaced with OEM gaskets. Wheels/Tires/Transmission: Rims look great and the tires have lots of life left. The transmission shifts smooth and the clutch works as it should. The chain and sprocket are in good condition. Battery/Electrical: Battery is brand new and everything works as it should. The bike comes with the owner’s manual, receipts, extra key and triumph binder. Also comes with a Men’s Journal magazine that I saw and purchased because I had the bike. Clean NH title in my name.
