SELLING AS A PARTS CAR OR A PROJECT CAR… YOU MAKE THAT DECISION I bought this vehicle to replace any hard to find replacement parts on another Eldorado I owned and was planning to restore. However, due to unforeseen circumstances I made the decision to sell the other Eldorado before completely restoring it. Now I only have this Blue 1985 Cadillac Eldorado for sale. Personally I feel it should be restored, but you need to make that decision...Please refer to the "LAST" photo to what this vehicle actually looked like back in 1985. RECENTLY INSTALLED: (1) A New Battery (2) A New Fuel Pump (3) A Rebuilt Frozen Caliper (4) A New Oil Change (5) Re-Chromed Halo on E&G Continental Wheel E&G CONTINENTAL KIT: I took the 5th wheel completely off the car for restoration. All original parts and screws are together, but separated in plastic bags. The complete unit is in the trunk and will be included in the sale. INTERIOR: All lights work, fabric seats are in good shape, seat motors work, window motors work, power door locks work (But only on the passenger door), fuel gauge works, speedometer works, radio is not good, works sometimes, A/C does not get cold (I do not think it was ever converted), but dash controls work, heater works, headliner needs replacing, trunk release button located in glove box works. EXTERIOR: All lights work, body has rust in certain areas, but no major dents, vinyl top needs replacing and brakes are bad. ENGINE: Is in good running condition no visible signs of oil leaks, power steering is good no visible leaks and radiator is good no visible leaks. TRANSMISSION: Shifts smoothly with no visible leaks…But linkage need new “Rubber Grommets” to indicate gear level on steering column. MY RECOMMENDATION: I test drove this vehicle and was amazed how good this 28 year old vehicle ride, handle and perform…HOWEVER…I do not recommend driving it home. It has a slow leaking brake master cylinder and the tires are old with signs of dry rot. This vehicle is…NOT ROAD READY! But it will start and can be driven onto a trailer for transport… PLEASE REMEMBER BRAKES ARE BAD! THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD…“AS IS”…NO WARRANTY OR REFUND AFTER THE SALE. Thank-you for looking
