You are bidding on a 2010 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. This truly immaculate one-owner car has been professionally built and tuned, adult owned, stored in a heated garage, and has never seen snow or rain. This car has enough power and performance to embarrass a Shelby SuperSnake or 2013 GT500 for a fraction of the price. This GT500 is equipped with a Whipple 2.9L supercharger and makes approx. 885hp (752rwhp) @ 19psi. The vehicle also features an extensive list of supporting modifications to ensure that it is not only blindingly fast, but will remain reliable and trouble-free for years to come. This vehicle has only 7,300 sunny weekend miles, has never been abused or raced, and has never seen a drag strip. It has also never been smoked in and has never been through an automatic car wash. The meticulous care this vehicle has received throughout its life is readily apparent when looking at the flawless Kona Blue paint job that is completely devoid of scratches or swirl marks. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles and all tires are recent replacements with less than 1,000 miles of use and plenty of tread life remaining. The vehicle was dyno tuned by Jon Lund, an internationally renowned Shelby GT500 tuner who is regarded as one of the best in the business. It made 752rwhp and 669lb/ft of torque @ 19psi on a safe and conservative street tune. The only change to the vehicle since the dyno tune was the transition from a Whipple mono-blade throttle body to the Ford Racing dual bore throttle body. This change has allowed the car to retain near stock levels of driveability. The car drives so well that it is not easily discernible from a stock GT500 at part throttle. Of course, when you put the pedal to the floor, it's a whole different animal. A Snow Performance methanol injection kit was added to keep the intake charge cool and ensure that the car performs consistently no matter what the temperature outside. This car does not rely on the methanol injection to make additional power, but even more power could likely be made if the tune was revised to take advantage of the additional octane provided by the methanol. All original parts including the original wheels and tires, supercharger, and other components have been retained and are in as-new condition so that the car can be returned to showroom stock condition should the need ever arise. These parts are available for additional cost and are not included in the sale price of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with the standard halogen (non-HID) headlights and the standard sound system (no navigation). I am the original owner of the vehicle and purchased it off the showroom floor from a dealer in Pittsburgh, PA. The vehicle has never been involved in any accidents or fender-benders and I am in possession of a clear title for the vehicle with no liens. The vehicle is available for local pickup or for shipping anywhere within the continental U.S. at the buyer's direction and expense. The vehicle is available for inspection and a test ride for interested local buyers. For legal and insurance purposes, interested parties will not be able to drive the vehicle until the vehicle is paid for in full. Mileage is subject to change during the duration of the auction but will not exceed 7500 miles. Accepted methods of payment are wire transfer or certified check. The vehicle will not be released until all funds post to my account. A $2,000 deposit is required within three days of purchase and the remaining balance is due within ten days of purchase.
