**** NO RESERVE AUCTION **** Jaguar XJ6 (XJ40)Vanden Plas 1992 Top of the line luxury Jaguar for its year **** NO RESERVE AUCTION **** Quite a decent XJ6 Jaguar Vanden Plas (XJ40 model) finished in teal green/blue metallic with tan leather interior. A Florida car most of its life. Titled so up until 2002 but still used in Florida until 2005 as a "snow bird's" car. Used for short time in the Mid-West after that and then stored for the last few years since. Body reasonably straight with exception of a dent on front right fender near headlamp. Paint is shiny but does have the odd scratch, ding and chip. The side mouldings are not original but look good. The car is clean and without rust issues. With the car fully detailed and polished it would look very smart indeed. The interior is a little tired looking in the front but nothing a good clean up won't improve. Wood on driver door and far right of dash is in poor shape but rest is good. The front ash tray is missing. Front seats are showing signs of wear but the rest of the leather is good - in the rear very good as are the door panels. Headlining is drooping which is typical for this model. Car runs and drives but will need a good service and going-over because she has sat in storage unused for a number of years. You will not be able to drive her home. The Vanden Plas was the top of the line for Jaguar in its year so the car is fully loaded. Besides all the electric options it has the full leather interior unique to Vanden Plas. "Standard" Jaguars have leather seats but the Vanden Plas has "everything" leather; console, hand stitched leather on the doors etc. The picnic tables on the rear of the front seats is a Vanden Plas tradition. This Jaguar needs only minimal restoration and would be great to fix up as a nice luxury driver. Factory alloy wheels are good fitted with Pirelli P4000 tyres in driver condition. A spare is available if required. This a true NO RESERVE auction so bid to own a bargain priced Jaguar. Highest bidder wins - no arguments!
