Vehicle Detail

I have up for auction my wife's 2004 Honda CR-V. This is the Honda CR-V EX model, which at the time of it's purchase was the top of the line model for the CR-V. My wife and I bought this CR-V brand new and it has been garage kept and well maintained for it's entire life. It currently has 99,887 miles on it, but it is my wife's daily driver so that mileage will go up slightly this week. This CR-V has 4WD, automatic trans with overdrive, 4 cyl, power windows, locks, steering, and brakes. It also has cruise, tilt steering, rear window defrost, 6 disc CD, and power moonroof. It has cold A/C and great heat in the winter. The 4WD system works flawlessly. As I said we've owned this car for 9 years and my wife has always been able to get around in the snow. We are the original owners of this SUV. We bought it brand new and have taken very good care of this vehicle. I am a car fanatic and I know the value of taking care of my automobiles. I have changed the oil faithfully every 3000 miles. The car has a brand new Pennsylvania State Safety inspection good until 3-14. When the car was inspected about 2 weeks ago, we had our mechanic replace all the drive belts as well as rotate the tires. The tires were installed and the vehicle was aligned in September of 2011 and they have about 15,000 miles on them. The battery was replaced in October of 2012 and I chose the NAPA legend 75 month battery so it's practically brand new. I have receipts for the tires, the belts plus safety inspection, and also the battery. Last year for safety inspection the car needed new front brakes so I installed new brakes and front rotors. They only have about 10-12,000 miles on them as well. About 2 years ago we replaced all the factory oxygen sensors due to a check engine light. Mechanically this SUV is in A plus condition. For starters it's a Honda. Even with 99,000 miles on it this CR-V drives like a brand new car. I have to say I am very impressed with Honda's product. We've owned this SUV for 9 years and have simply NEVER had an issue. Other than routine maintenance this car has needed absolutely nothing. It's been 150% reliable and as I stated it just keeps running fantastic. I would safely assume that with regular oil changes that this CR-V can easily see another 100,000 miles without any issues. The body is in very good condition. This CR-V has had no accidents ever. Obviously this CR-V has one or two very minor door dings and some chips up front from debris on the road but otherwise everything is in fantastic condition. There is a very minor scratch on the passenger side rear quarter panel and some light marring of the paint where my son decided to run one of his toy cars over it, but honestly I think a good detailing will remove those minor issues. The interior is also in great shape. It has the factory cloth bucket seats up front and the flip down and forward seats in the back. The CR-V has been kept relatively clean, but I have 2 young children so don't be suprised to find a hidden french fry or toy somewhere in the car. Everything works too. The power moonroof either tilts up or slides into the roof. The heat and A/C work flawlessly, all the power accessories work such as windows, locks, cruise, radio, CD player, ect. This has been a fantastic vehicle for my wife. It runs great and with the 4 cyl it gets fantastic gas mileage along with really having a lot of power. Honda really hit a home run with the 2.4 liter 4 cyl. It has some get up and go! The only reason we are selling the CR-V is because we simply have too many cars. I'm a car guy. I have a restored 1968 Firebird, a 1986 5.0 Mustang GT with T-tops, a 93 S-10 4WD pickup, and my daily driver is an 02 Toyota 4 Runner. My wife feels like it's time to thin the herd. I'm OK with it but the Firebird and Mustang aren't going anywhere. Since the 4 Runner is a slightly bigger SUV than the CR-V, we are going to hold onto the 4 Runner and I will drive the Mustang and the S-10 pick up to work and keep the Firebird for car shows and cruise nights. That allows us to sell the CR-V and free up some parking room in the garage and on our driveway. We have a clean and clear title to the CR-V. It has just been state safety inspected. It's ready to turn the key and enjoy. Please feel free to ask any questions. I will also be glad to take additional pictures of anything you would like to see. Thanks! On Mar-29-13 at 17:31:05 PDT, seller added the following information: A question was asked today about whether the gear oil had been changed in the rear differential. I was under the impression that it had been done by our local Honda dealer when we took it in for it's 75,000 mile check up but my wife was unable to find that particular receipt so I went to the Honda dealer today and picked up 2 quarts of Honda gear oil. I will be swapping out the gear oil first thing tomorrow morning to remove any doubt.
