2004 Honda XR-400R VIN = JH2NE03064M900104 Bought two years ago to ride with my son, who got a 1999 XR-100 for Christmas. It was in showroom condition when I bought it. It had a good assortment of goodies, but obviously spent more time getting washed and farkled-up than ridden. All removed parts will be included with the bike Original Clutch Lever and Cable Engine Case Protector Original Honda Tool Kit Case K&N Filter Cleaner Kit White Brothers Exhaust in Perfect Condition - removed for backyard riding (It's adds lots of power to the bike that I didn't need, didn't miss and it's a lot louder than the stock pipe. Bike did feel a little heavier with the stock exhaust though, come to think of it...) Bike will come with owners manual, a service book or two, manual for the TrailTech computer, and manuals for the GPS and software if that's purchased. Maintenance I've done a few oil changes in the two years I've had the bike. I have a few new filters that'll go with the bike. Performance: As it is, the bike is much more than I need to putt around with my son on his XR100. Putting the White Bros. exhaust back on and moving the main needle clip down one groove seems to add 10% more oomph to the bike. But for the suburban riding I thought it was too loud and put the stock pipe on it. Cosmetics: The bike has been down a few times and the plastics are a little scratched up as shown in the pix. No plastics are broken, just superficial scratches. No dings in the wheels. and bars, grips and controls are all good. Engine cases have very light wear. Foot pegs, stand and sub-frame are fine, no broken welds anywhere. Lights work. Good seat, no rips or tears. Sprockets and chain are in great shape. Suspension was never set up for me, I never really touched it. I wasn't competing, just putting around. Tires - Front's original, good shape. Rear was replaced, it's still like new. Bike is shown with RAM mount for a Garmin GPS. The GPS (GPSMap 60 CSX) is great for finding your way around and recording your trips. This auction won't include the Garmin or the mount, but if you want it I'll include the whole kit, along with the map software for another $200. For the winning bidder, I would like an immediate payment of $500 with PayPal, and the whole deal should be wrapped up within a week or so after the auction ends. Please don't bid if you don't intend to complete the purchase as I wouldn't be selling if I didn't need the money. I'd prefer the bike be paid for with US Postal Service money order instead of giving PayPal a big chunk of the money, but will be flexible if PayPal is your only option. I may be able to deliver the bike in the New England area for a nominal fee of $1/mile to cover gas, but the bike will need to be paid for first. I will also work with you if you need it shipped - I can drop it at a shipping depot if that's required. I won't arrange for shipping though - that's up to the buyer.
