This 1930 Model A Fordor Town Sedan is in excellent shape and is a fantastic driver. This vehicle is from an estate and the history is unknown.
Exterior
The exterior of this sedan presents very well. The paint is nice and shiny and looks to have had a quality paint job. There are some various small chips in the paint from use of the vehicle but nothing that will take away from its appearance. The chrome on the vehicle is in great shape. The headlights have had jeweled headlight visors installed. A small tool box with the jack and various other small tools has been installed behind the front bumper of the vehicle. A trunk has also been added to the back of the vehicle. The glass is all intact but it does have some scratches on some of the side windows from use over the years. Aftermarket vent wing windows are also on the vehicle. The tires are 1.75/5.00-19 and have good tread left and the spare looks to be in good shape as well.
Interior
The interior of this Ford is in great shape. The short mohair material is clean and does not have any rips or tears in it. The seats are comfortable and seat belts have been added to the front and rear seats. The town sedan has all the upgraded amenities like the rear seat fold down armrest and side arm rests. The carpets inside this vehicle are in nice shape as well. All of the windows roll up and down nicely and all the doors lock. A nice addition to this interior is the small fan under the passenger side of the dash that is also a heater.
Mechanical
This Model A runs strong. The engine fires right up and the transmission shifts great and drives down the road nicely. It has what is believed to be a Borg Warner electrically operated overdriv unit on this vehicle as well, which makes this Ford a perfect touring car. A Holley downdraft carburetor and a header exhaust system were also added and make starting this vehicle very easy. A hand operated starter switch has replaced the floor board foot operated one. The electrical system has been updated to a 12 volt system with an alternator and a battery disconnect has also been added for safety. A leakless waterpump is installed along with a 4 blade fan. The speedometer seems to work correctly.
Overview
This Ford will make an excellent touring car. It is set up well for driving and has lots of nice imenities on the inside for comfort that came from Ford.
This Model A is from an estate and the history of it is not known. The only information that is known is what has been described above. Friends of the family have helped me with what they know about the vehicle.

This vehicle, and all vehicles sold through us are sold AS-IS with no warranty intended or implied by the California Automobile Museum or its consignor/donor. All sales are final, and in there is no cooling off period in California. By bidding, you acknowledge this and agree your purchase will be AS-IS.

All sales will include a California Title and Bill of Sale unless otherwise stated. A Warranty Disclaimer will also be provided to be signed.

All purchased vehicles must be removed from the museum within 2 weeks from auctions end or storage fees of $10.00 per day will be applied. The Museum is open 7 days a week, 10 AM to 6 PM (excluding major U.S. holidays) and we welcome you or your representative to inspect the vehicle (by appointment only) prior to purchasing or bidding.
