I am selling my Candy Polaris Blue 1978 HONDA CB 750 A CB750A Hondamatic SOHC. 750cc Semi-automatic 2-speed transmission “no clutch”. This is a very nice and a very well taken care of example. The bike runs terrific. Everything works on this bike. The bike has always been Adult / enthusiast owned and only has 16,793 miles on it. This machine is 35 years old this year. This is the last year for the SOHC engine and the last year of the Hondamatic 750. Please read the entire add before bidding. Engine: The bike runs great and was just serviced. The carburetors were just ultrasonically cleaned. I replaced the fuel lines and added a fuel filter. New Battery, New spark plugs, oil just changed and New air filter. The 2 speed transmission works perfectly. The bike has dunstall style mufflers on it, they sound great. Other than that the bike is all original. Body: The bike looks great. The paint on this bike is all original and is really clean. There are a few blemishes here and there but overall would be hard to find one in this condition. The chrome is in exceptional condition for its age. There are no dings or dents in the bodywork. The inside of the gas tank is perfect, no rust.The seat is in great shape, no tears. Kick start lever and tool kit are still under the seat. I have no owner’s manual but it does come with the rider’s manual. The headers have a bit of rust on them and the chrome of the rear luggage rack (left side) has peeled a bit. The engine would look amazing with the cases polished; it does show its age. Examine pictures for condition. Chassis: The tires are in great shape the bike rides nice. Brakes work great the bike even has a parking brake. Suspension feels fine. Accessories: The bike has a KG luggage rack with a removable sissy bar. This is a nice option. The sissy bar can be adjusted for the rider or passenger. Nice to have for passengers and nice to remove when alone. The bike also has a throttle lock cruise control. The bike is sold with a Mass Title and Bill of sale. V.I.N. The bike is 35 years old if you are reading this I am sure that you are familiar with these old bikes. I bought this bike as you see it at the end of last season and I have only put 100 miles or so on it. I am an enthusiast with a great appreciation for the classics.
