THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 1999 GMC Sierra SLT. This pickup truck was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky State Police. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1GTEK19T3XZ514840 GENERAL: This vehicle is Black in color. It has the extended cab and also the long 8’ bed. It is 4-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. It has 235,000 miles on it. It comes with the 5.3 Liter V8 Gasoline engine in it. It is the 3-door cab. The third door is on the curb side (passenger side). The tires are Good Year LT305/70R16 and appear to have a lot of tread life left on them. There is a spare tire up under the rear of the truck. The tire jack is in the back floorboard. There is a lug wrench in the bed of the truck. The Air Conditioner and the Heater BOTH work. The 4-Wheel Drive works just like it is supposed to in ALL ranges. The passenger side "A" Pillar cover is also on the rear floorboard. I have driven this vehicle about 6 miles. It seems to drive just fine and has pleanty of power. I did notice that after I parked it, that it had 5-8 drops of oil drip onto the ground. I could not quickly tell where it was coming from. EVERY PANEL ON THIS GMC SIERRA HAS SEVERAL SCRATCHES AND CHIPS IN THE PAINT, INCLUDING THE ROOF. DRIVER’S SIDE: Front Fender: It has 4-5 small dents and one that is approx. 8” long. This dent is near the door and looks like it is from the door opening and caught the fender. It does not catch it at all now. Driver’s Door: There are 4-5 small dents or dings in the door. They appear to be door dings from other doors opening against it. On the forward edge of this door near the fender are several dents where the fender and door didn’t clear each other when opened. They do not touch each other at this time. Rear Panel: It is NOT a DOOR. There are 3-4 places that the paint is cracking or blistering. ROCKER PANEL: The front of it under the driver door has some paint missing and has some surface rust and the rear of the rocker panel does have rust through in it. Rear Quarter Panel: OR SIDE OF THE BED. There are a few dents near the top of the bed or near the rail and a couple of small dents above the “Z71” decal. REAR END: Bumper: It is actually in good shape. However it does have a missing license plate lamp housing. There is only one and should be two. The hitch has hook-up for a 7-way ‘round’ plug and plugged in it is an adapter for a 4-way flat plug. Tail Gate: The two (2) straps or cables that hold the tailgate out level when open are broken. BED: It has a Black plastic bed liner in it. There is a full size spare tire up under the rear of this truck. PASSENGER’S SIDE: Rear Quarter Panel: It has a rather large dent just above the tail / exhaust pipe. In the depths of this dent are two spots where the paint is gone and one of those has surface rust on it. Rear Door: It has a lot of scratches, as does every single panel on this GMC. Front Door: There are 3-4 small dents. Front Fender: There are only some scratches on this panel. ROCKER PANEL: This rocker only has some paint missing and some surface rust. FRONT END: Bumper: It has some paint peeling from the painted areas of it. The chrome part seems to be pretty good and it appears to be straight. There are also 2 Tow Hooks in the front. Grille: It has a little hole in the Black just beside the “C” in the GMC. Hood: There are several good-size chip of paint missing and several little chips in the paint. ROOF: There are chips in the paint and a lot of scratches just like every other panel on this truck. WHEELS: All four wheels are polished alloy or aluminum. I am sure which. They each have some clear coating starting to come off. Overall, they do look pretty good though. They have the GMC insignia in the center. INTERIOR: It is Gray. The leather seats are also Gray and so is the carpet. There are floor mats for the front seats. The carpet has stains in places all over. The front seats are bucket seats and there is a lockable console between them. Drivers seat has some torn or worn spots on the outer edge. They are beginning to loose some of the support in that area. The rest of the seat looks pretty good. The passenger seat has a small tear or torn spot about 1-1/2” long in the portion of the back section. The rest of this seat looks to be pretty good. Both front bucket seats are power seats and are also heated. The console has cup holders and extra storage areas. There is an overhead console too. In the dash there are (3) 12-Volt Power supply spots. There is a place on the driver door that you can set the drivers seat for different drivers. I suppose it is called memory settings for that seat. It also has Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power External Mirrors, Power Windows and Tilt Steering Wheel. The inside rear view mirror has a compass direction and the temperature in it. The Stereo is AM/FM Cassette and a separate (factory, I guess) CD player in the lower dash behind a little door. The rear seat is also covered with leather and it folds up to allow for more room or what ever. All windows are tinted dark except the front windshield. It has factory tinting down just a few inches. The rear window has a tear or rip in the tinting that is approx 8” long. I had this vehicle running while these pictures were taken. Please note that it is entirely possible that we missed something or failed to see it or failed to mention something about this vehicle.
