Vehicle Detail

Please note: There is not a reserve on this truck, but it IS for sale locally for $7,000. If you wait too long to bid, it may be sold locally for less than $7,000, because there are people interested locally. Please show interest and bid before it is too late and it is sold. You will not find a better deal than this anywhere. This truck has only had one owner, and the engine has been meticulously cared for, with all scheduled maintenance being performed on time, making for a great running truck. The 7.4 liter gas engine runs perfectly, and starts right up every time. Please know this is a big truck. It is a factory made flatbed truck. It was NOT a pickup truck with a flatbed added afterwards. It is an HD (Heavy Duty), so it is MEANT for big jobs, not just a converted pickup truck that will sort of work for the big jobs. The automatic transmission shifts great, and provides all the torque and power you need for large jobs. Not only do you get a truck with an engine that runs perfect, but this truck has never been in any sort of accident, so you get a truck that has a body in perfect condition (minus a few bumps and bruises and peeling paint). A brand new battery was installed last November, ensuring it will start up on the first turn of the key every time. This is a work truck, and was only used in town to pull a trailer and haul a load between job sites a couple times a month. Because it was only used a couple of times a month, it only has 24,200 original miles. There are no stakesides for the bed. They were traded several years ago for the job box which is included, and can be seen in the pictures on the bed, but could be removed if you wanted to give you full use of the 14' bed. There are no leaks in the engine. It is in perfect running condition, as described. Heat and air conditioning are in good working condition. All other electronics work and lights work. There are also 3 undermount storage bins under the bed, which have matching keys. Because it was used for heavy hauling, it is equipped with a trailer brake controller, to go along with the towing package. The front and rear tires are in excellent condition, as you can see in the pictures. This is a non-smoking vehicle, so you don't have to worry about the smell of cigarette smoke being ingrained in the interior. As far as I could tell from getting a blue book price on it, this truck is worth at the LEAST $7,000. I'm starting the bid at $3,500 with no reserve, so highest bidder will get this truck, but as I said, it is for sale locally, and people are interested, so do not wait to show interest and bid, because if I sell it locally, it will be removed from here. Upon complete payment, the keys, and a clear title, including a bill of sale will be handed over to the buyer. Until complete payment has been processed, buyer may not assume possession. I've been asked about measurements on this truck, so here are any measurements I thought would be of any use: Wheel Base (Front Axle to Rear Axle) - 183" Rear Wheel Track - 84" Bed Length - 171" Bed Width - 96" Rear of Cab to Rear Axle - 113" Rear of Cab to End of Bed - 177" Hopefully this information will help. These measurements were taken with my tape measure, so if they are off an inch or two one way or another, I apologize. So, what is the bad about this truck? There are a couple of things that are less that exceptional, but could be easily fixed: The interior driver's side door lock has been rigged with a wire to lock and unlock it from the inside. It locks and unlocks fine from the outside. The seat cover is torn on the driver's side from people getting in and out a lot over the short miles it was driven. Most of the times it was driven was about 4 miles or less, then it would sit a couple weeks, before being driven a couple miles again. Other than these two things, and the paint peeling (which was mentioned earlier), this truck is great). It is a work truck, so it is not ready to go out on stage and be used for show, but will definitely provide a lasting truck for many years to come if you need a reliable truck. This truck is located in Colorado Springs, and I'm able to show it anytime. Just contact me, and I'll send you my number and we can set up a time for you to see it and test drive it. If you would like it delivered once you have purchased it, I can deliver it wherever you like for $1.00/mile once payment has been made in full. Also, if you have any questions, please contact me BEFORE bidding. Any bids are binding, and will be considered final. So ask questions, and figure out finances BEFORE bidding please.
