SHOW STOPPING BEAUTY! This 1965 Chevrolet Pick-up short bed fleetside is one of the Nicest restored modifed in the usa and you would be proud to drive! The completion was done in 1999 and has been garaged. I have owned this truck for 10 years and the previous owner had over 50 trophys, I have won 10 trophys and a photo shoot, but I only went for a couple years, lost interest in car shows. It was in the world of wheels calander before I bought it and 35K was invested than and I upgraded the drive train to a big block stroker with NOS and a TCI 400 turbo, lot's of time and craftsmanship has been put in to this build. I still have the listing description from 10 years ago, it says. the truck was from New Mexico and was stripped completely and disassembled and replaced or rebuilt, that means everything! It is powered by a 1970's 454 block bored 30 over with a 4.25 Eagle stroker crank, rod kit and TRW 10.15 compression pistons, all was balanced. double roller chain crain comp cam 612 lift 245 dur 11deg sep for the nos, red zones hydrolic roller lifters and comp roller rockers, weiland Team G intake with drilled bosses for a custom installed NOS system, 250 HP shot injected with a deamon carb. Top Pro alauminum heads and sertie valve job plus alittle opening of the chambers than polished,sfi balancer and aluminum pullys, alternator, radiator and powered coated headers. all was dinoed and pulled over 550 hp that was without the right plugs (they were short plugs for steel heads) and not tuned in only one pull was included with the build. so without a dought it is a 600hp motor with a 250hp shot of juice that is all plummed in the motor but never finished or used the nos, extra parts and hoses and bottle is still new. TCI 400 auto trans was all built and a TCI 3500 stall converter with the NOS baloon installed. The rear end is a narrowed Ford 9 inch with 4.10 gears with allden adjustiable coilover shocks, factory trailing arms. Front end was done with camaro componets, power stering and front disc brakes so it is easy to drive! The cabs interior is professionally done with 1999 chevy truck seat and the same meterial was used to custom make the head liner with map lights and lighted visors also custom door panels with the same meterial with brushed aluminum window cranks and door handles. tilt steering with a brushed aluminim steering wheel, brushed aluminum rear view mirror. and much more. It has a pioneer am/fm/cd with amp. The exterior has a nice deep red base with a clear coat always waxed and shines great, the doors are shaved (no mirrors or door handles or locks) it is all done electric with a key fob, Nice option. the bed has all the oak wood slats in exl shape with the chrome inserts, custom wheel tub's, lovered boetie tailgate with the thrid brake light, rolled back plate for a shaved back bumper. Ultra (chrome) wheels, New cooper cobra 245/60/15 in the front and New 29/15.0/15 mickey thompson sportsmans in the rear. This truck is very loud (won a trophy for that) drives great, runs exl and get thumbs up everywhere you go with compilments. there is a couple of light scratches under the roll pan by the licence plate and one on the very bottom of the rear quarter panel behind the rear tire, also a couple small bubbles on the door seam hardly noticeable but will have all fixed if i get my price or name your price and fix it yourself. I can suppily pics if wanted. I can't say anything else this is a respectable truck, It shine's nice sounds good and runs and drives exl, needs very little to be perfect. This is not you typical back yard restore it has all quality parts... You are bidding to buy the truck not to come and look.
