1968 IH Scout 800. This is probably the most rust free Scout I have seen in a long time. This Scout is wearing its original tan paint and has never been repainted. It has the original V8 that runs perfect and leaks not a drop. Its also a 4 speed T19 close ratio trans unlike most that have the three speed. Listed below are the repairs and new parts that have been done to it in the last year. I had the seats recovered with the factory vinyl from SMS Auto upholstery (Canby OR) off an original factory role pf material so they have the correct look and feel as if it were new. The Warn Winch and bumper are correct Scout pieces. The winch was completely gone through and is ready for cable and wiring up to the battery. This Scout also came equipped with a power-lock rear end differential that is nice and tight. The only rust spot in the Scout that is of concern is a real small hole in the floor board near the gas pedal and a few spots of surface rust in the bed and top other than that its good. All the gauges and lights work with the exception of the turn signals and brake lights. These will work with the replacement of the turn signal switch. The stock radio works as well! If you have always wanted an early Scout but saw the junk or fully restored ones at outrageous prices then start bidding, this is priced to sell and a great deal!
