Vehicle Detail

Complete, Nice Driver, Runs. Has been garaged since my husband died 9 years ago. Reasonable reserve. Need to complete some other projects. Serious bidders only. Email with questions, I will answer the best I can. Needs some trim and door adjustment. Painted too soon by previous owner. Looks nice but is not perfect. Chrome, paint, top and interior are in good shape. I can provide pictures as requested. Have an older beat up set of Sabre wheels that I can include. Has batwing air cleaner. No parade boot. No rust that I am aware of.On Mar-10-13 at 11:41:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Looks nice but is not perfect...can be .presented as a driver without shame. Most of the Chrome is in very good shape. There is pitting at the driver's side exhaust (see pictures) Top and interior are in good shape. All windows, and electronics work. Chrome panels under chrome strips on rear quarterpanels have some quarter size bubbles. Has batwing air cleaner. The number on the motor matches the number on the title. Have an older beat up set of Sabre wheels that I can include. No parade boot. Had a mechanic/body man check out the car yesterday afternoon. These were the findings. Car has had quite a bit of body work. Some of it not that good, although the finished look of the car is nice. That is what i mean by "painted too early". If you just want driver, it is a nice looking car--especially from 20 feet. If you are looking for a complete restoration, as soon as the paint is off, there will be patch panels, bondo and some inferior work done especially on the passenger side rear quarterpanel. There is bondo in the rocker panels under both doors. The inside of the trunk under the carpet has been under-coated--see pictures posted in comments. There is some surface rust on the valance connecting to the rear bumper but that appears to be the only rust he could find. There has definitely been work done to this car--it is complete, but not unmolested. Considering how rare this car is, the fact that it is all here, in working and presentable order, the body work with the paint off may be worth the restoration. I have more pictures to post of the underside, inside the engine (but the batwing air cleaner is off) and inside the trunk. The tag on the fire wall says paint code 94; trim code 13 and 7 for the top. The interior is quite nice, BUT, it was sold to me as a leather interior, and it appears to be correct, but the leather feels more like vinyl than leather. The body man said the same thing--he said the pattern was correct, but it did not have that leather feel...we are not sure--but it is in good shape. The top is black and is in good shape other than when you retract the top it does not "seat" properly without some adjustment. The chrome is mostly good. I am trying to be honest in the description of this car. It is still a beauty if you just want a driver. I am just trying to give a full disclosure. When it was sold to me, it was represented as having a 4 year old frame off restoration--which is doubtful. I encourage in person inspections and am moving the car to my business on Monday (it may take all day to get moved) so that inspections will be easier. On Mar-11-13 at 10:04:37 PDT, seller added the following information: vin#: 5762082850 am trying to post more pictures: On Mar-11-13 at 18:45:50 PDT, seller added the following information: The car is now viewable at 8924 Airport Road, Redding, 96002 Monday-Friday 10-4 without an appointment. Other hours require an appointment. The car purred as it was driven the 15 miles from where it was garaged to where it is now. On closer inspection, the rust on the rear valance is not just surface rust.
