I am offering for sale my 2008 Silverado 3500HD that I have owned since new. I originally purchased the truck to haul my race car trailer in March of 2008, but due to a poor economy I didn't go out too much and by 2010 I had pretty much let the racing go for the time. I now feel that I should move along with it,the last payment made and a new GMC rollback on order,its time.I have an auto repair shop on Long Island and the truck basically stays there, I do a couple of motorcycle trips yearly and some local running around with it, hence the low mileage. Truck has been very pampered,Delvac synthetic every 3500 miles,fuel filters every other service @ 7000 miles, transmission fluids and filters at every 10,500 miles.I changed diffs 2 times over the life of truck. Never smoked in, exceptionally clean inside and out. I added factory back - up camera that was not available when I purchased truck.The truck is as tight as it was the day I purchased it,it drives as straight as a string,very strong and as smooth as a Cadillac. It is very well optioned,Trailer package,adjustable pedals,Navigation,I have original window sticker! Minor scratch here or there from just being on the road,1 minor ding over right rear tail lamp and small scratcjh on right rear lens.minor dime sized ding on right rear bumper.1 small repair , very minor ( $1010.00 at professional body shop) on left rear wheel extension that happened by car jockey at Chevrolet dealer during a recall repair. Never went through insurance,I mention it to be fair to a prospective buyer. NEVER WRECKED,DAMAGED,FLOODED ETC. The truck has never had any true mechanical problem,no driveline issues or fuel system issues. It had a water leak from cab clearance lights 2 months after I bought it and broke a door handle and needed a power lock actuator,I have been a pleased with this truck,It will surely make its new owner happy. Though this truck is not BRAND new,but I believe it is as close as one could reasonably expect with minor signs of use consistent with mileage.I am within 30 miles of New York City airports and would gladly arrange for pick up for new owner. I will add the pictures of the interior tomorrow as I have forgotten the keys today!
