We are representing this Rover for a long term customer. This car was used by an exclusive restoration shop as the parts runner vehicle. This Rover recently had the original engine replaced with a larger 4.2 LWB engine with less than 20,000 miles on the engine. The vehicle has 136,292 miles on the odometer. The car runs very well with the newer larger engine. We noticed during our inspection the rear differential has play when shifting from reverse to drive (has been doing this for the last 80,000 miles!) and the park function does not hold on steep hills. Suspension, cooling system and brakes are all in good order. The Rover has four Kumho tires with excellent tread and a new headliner. Exterior condition of this Rover is Very Good considering age of vehicle. Paint is very glossy with no significant dents, dings or scratches. Body is very rust free with only the usual small rust on lower rear window frame. Alloy wheels are in great condition with no significant marks. Interior condition of this Rover is very nice. Non-Smoker, leather is in great condition with very limited wear. Door panels, dash, wood, headliner and carpeting are all in very nice condition. This Rover drives very well. Transmission shifts smoothly and engine is quiet and doesn’t smoke. This is a great opportunity to purchase an interesting older classic County Rover in great condition!
