Vehicle Detail
Hello All! Up for grabs today is a sweet 1935 Plymouth PJ 2-door Sedan. This is a project car that I can no longer complete and Must pass it on the the next Gear Head. I've had this car for a couple of years and I'm the third owner. It was orginally a South Dakota car and still retains some of the oil change tags in the doorjam for that state. Never wreaked or jumped just a good clean, straight, vehicle. Front Clip was added by previous owner , quality work , with a great setup for a V8 . This car is special because of the ORIGINAL Black Paint on the body. The black laquer wasn't touched and was just buffed out right after purchasing the car. Over 75 years of natural patina and wear the you can't replcate. All original glass , and orginal sheetmetal , both front doors shown in pictures have glass in them , currently in the rolled down position . NO FIBERGLASS. All Steel body and solid floor boards with no rot. Inside doors have all garnish moldings. The partially Boxed Frame has a Chevy Nova II front clip IFS with rack and pinion steering. A Freshly Rebuilt and running Chevy 350 paired to a 400 Turbo Hydromatic auto Trans. Engine was a runner when pulled , Chevy 8 bolt Rear end topped off with a 3 inch drop front and rear. Fenders are all original but have had minor bodywork and paint touch up to keep up apperances. No bumpers with sale . The previous owner tried to make the hood into a one piece unit , so hood will not open like a normal 35 ply would . The running boards have been modified to a smooth sheet metal coated with truck bed lining. Front disk brakes with drums in the rear. No master cylinder has been installed yet , although brake lines to it's position are present. Original gas tank and rear seats. Newer hot rod tilting front bucket seats. iDIDit tilt steering cloumn with a Grant steering wheel. Centerline 15" mags on brand new rubber. The motor runs but the wiring still needs to be installed and gas lines currently disconnected. Driveshaft is included but not bolted to the rearend for ease of moving. No other parts are included other than what is shown in the pictures. This will make a great hot rod or daily driver and Im sad I won't be able to complete it. , I do have a small reserve for only what I have in it . Please ask any and all questions BEFORE bidding. I will be happy to answer them. This Car has been garage hold time . The Car is sold AS-IS with no refunds, please ask your wife before you buy it. No title for the vehicle but a bill of sale will be included. I can hold the car for two weeks and no longer , Can assisted with delivery , going to be making a trip out to Oklahoma City after sale . Prospective buyers must contact me within 48 hours after winning the vehicle to arrange delivery and pickup of the car. A non-returnable deposit of $500 must be paid after winning the auction. For those of you who are bidding , I did have this 35 Ply up for auction last week , but the winner Fail to Pay , and would not even return my emails , so if you plan on bidding and you a first time buyer , Please do not waist my time or other bidders time here. This a great project , with Great sheet metal , that all great Rodders are allways looking for . Thanks and Good luck!
