This is for a very Rare unmolested 1981 Pontiac Trans Am 5.0 with factory 4 speed.This is the only way you could get a 4 speed Trans am in 1981.I am the second owner of this car.It was owned by the original owner until 2011.She special ordered the car new.I have the factory build sheet*SEE PHOTOS* It shows how the car was ordered.The car is all original from the paint right down to the exhaust.The miles showing are correct.The car runs and drives well.It is very tight.The doors still open and shut like new.NO SAG,NO rattle.The dash pad is perfect with no cracks.The car was order radio delete,but with prep package and a power antenna.It was also ordered posi delete.The rear end has been changed out to a posi now and it has a 3:90 richmond gear,so the little 305 will actually get up and go.I have the original rear end also.This car is very solid with very little rust.The floors are excellent and still have the blue paint showing under the carpet*SEE PHOTOS*The trunk is like new with NO rust.The trunk lid is excellent.The hood,quarters,rockers and frame are all rust free.The drivers door is rust free.There is a little rust in the passenger door on the bottom in the middle but it is a easy fix.The driver fender is rusted ate bottom but is savable.I have a patch panel and if you want it,another complete rust free drivers fender.The only real rust on the car is in 3 spots listed below. 1.The rear lower valance panel behind the rear bumper cover has some rust.See photos 2.The very back lower inside edge of the passenger door frame by the rear foiler.See photo.I cleaned it out and it appears it rusted from the outside in,so it will be a easy fix also.It is not corroded on the inside and the rocker is rust free. 3. THE THIN METAL OF THE UPPER DASH @ A 1/4 OF A INCH FROM THE BACK EDGE OF THE DASH PAD AND ABOUT 1 INCH FROM THE PASSENGER SIDE "A" POST IS RUSTED.THE SIZE IS ABOUT 1/2 inch x 1 inch.THE "A"POST ITSELF IS NOT RUSTED.I DO NOT KNOW WHY IT RUSTED HERE BUT I HAVE SEEN THIS ON OTHER 80-81 FIREBIRDS & TRANS AMS.THE CAR DOES NOT LEAK AROUND ANY OF THE WINDOWS.THERE IS ****NO ***RUST IN THE FLOORS.THE PANS ARE STILL THE FACTORY BLUE AND THE PADDING AND INSULATION IS STILL LIKE NEW. *** There has been NO BONDO or any body work done on this car.Just some grey primmer sprayed where paint is/was thin.What you see is what you get no surprizes.This is a solid good driving car. The inside of the car is all original,including the carpet,seats and door panels.The dash is perfect with NO cracks.I have the original 4 speed shifter knob, in excellent shape,it is back on the car now,the white knob has been removed.I have all the interior pieces not seen,such as the trim piece under the steering column and the factory radio trim plate.Sun visors are good and the headliner board is intact,it just need new covering.Seats still sit good and only the bottoms are torn.I have new chrome trim that goes around the seat backs.I have redyed a few things with the correct shadow blue dye.I have an extra can that will come with the car.Nothing was powdery just slightly faded.I have a new package tray cover.The original floor pans all still look new with the factory blue paint still intact.This car has never been wet inside.Carpet,padding and insulation is all still good.All the gauges work.The power windows are smooth and fast.The original 5.0 still runs great and is smooth and strong.All the original smog stuff is still with the car.It is still running the original computer controlled dist and carb.The 4 speed shifts smoothly and the clutch is original and still good.Believe it or not this car will chirp the tires thru the first 3 gears still.The reverse lock out still works.The heat and A/C still work and it is still running r12. I have alot of new parts that will come with the car.I have already installed new door window weatherstripping.I have new outside window rubber scrappers.The trunk weatherstrip is original and looks like new still.I have a brand new complete e brake cable set.I have a NOS in the box factory am/fm 8 track radio and a good used factory power antenna.I also have a perfect original 81 Blue tilt steering column.I have a full MAGNAFLOW stainless exhaust with the correct T/A Splitter tips and a new set of hedman headers.There is also a large assortment of other T/A parts that will come to,if you want them,including the original nose.(Its deformed from something heavy laying against it)I also have the full front spoiler/In short Nothing is missing.Please contact me thru ebay with any questions about the car,parts and shipping. *****For an extra 350.00 I have a full set of WS-6 Cast wheels and the correct metal caps in Great shape.
