1977 Volkswagen WESTFALIA Pop-Top Camper Bus/Vanagon. GREEN. Currently parked at a self-storage facility in the Sacramento area of Northern California where it was sold at public auction to recoup past-due space rent. I do not have any history of the vehicle. It appears to have spent some number of years parked at the facility. All four tires are completely flat. There is no key so unable to start it. There is a crack on the windshield, the passenger wind wing has broken out. The driver side rear window has broken as well. There is NO KEY so unable to start it. I have provided a photo of inside the engine compartment. The dash cluster is intact. The radio is missing. There is a crack on the lid of the glove box. Seats are a green plaid westy print. It appears someone may have been living inside the VW as evidenced by paperback books, old newspapers, mail and the like on the floorboard and in the back. I did not pop open the tilt-top simply as I do not know how by myself. I did take a couple of photos of the mechanism from inside the bus. And once again, there is NO KEY so unable to start it. It has alot of potential with all the original exterior parts and interior parts. I visually noticed the cluster behind the driver seat had a woodgrain look. One piece towards the back looks like some veneer has peeled. The dashboard gauge cluster is intact and odometer shows 53000 but unsure if it has spun over once. The radio is missing and the glove box door has a crack on it. Vehicle comes with DMV lien sale packet. The storage facility receives authorization from the DMV to sell the vehicle to recover back space rent. The packet clears any outside interest in the vehicle and is necessary to receive ownership papers from the DMV. Per California law, vehicles sold at auction must stay in place for 10 days so the earliest it can be picked up is Sat March 2.
