This truck was ordered from the factory in 1977 and delivered in July 1978. The former owner bought it from the original owner ten years ago (2001), had it repainted four years ago (2007), had the transmission and engine completely rebuilt 3 years ago (2008), and was having the interior redone when the man working on it passed away. The engine is still "Corporate Blue" but it does need some cleaning. The paint is closer to factory than most factory paint jobs and I have all of the original trim excluding one of the interior Silverado Custom door bezels.The former owner put in a Tomco remanned Rochester equipped Quadrajet Carburetor. It has gotten a brand new starter, a new Wix Fuel Filter and air filter and a brand new Airtex fuel pump. The only aftermarket mods the former owner made include a new hood, a Rhino-Bed liner, a billet aluminum grill, a GM approved heavier duty tailgate, bucket seats, chrome bed caps and a red and black bowtie hold down for the breather. The cons are: The interior never got finished, which means it needs a headliner and carpet, it needs driven, the hood needs to be reinforced on the driver side hinge and the paint has a few minor scratches.
