This low mileage California Mustang has been a part of the Museum since 2008 and now needs a new home. It has had 4 owners before it was donated to the museum.
Exterior
The exterior of this Mustang is in great shape. The body is straight and is very solid. Rust is no where to be found on this vehicle. It has had a repaint in the same Wimbledon White that it had from the factory. The paint shines nicely. It does have some a small amount of overspray in various spots. we are unaware of when this vehicle was repainted. It does however have a couple of small paint chips and a small dent on top of the left front fender. It has a couple of small paint chips on the right front fender above the Mustang emblemand on the left rear fender. The chrome on the rear bumper has some slight peeling on the right side. Other than those spots the paint looks great and the body is in fantastic shape.
Interior
The interior looks to be original and the Parchment white vinyl seats are in great shape. The seats are not torn or ripped but there is a couple of very small scratches on the rear seat on the upper right hand side (pictured) but they are very small. The black carpeting is in great shape and is very clean. Black rubber floor mats are in place to help with the wear. The dash board is complete and all the gauges are complete and work correctly. The headliner is in great shape and is clean. The door panels are clean and in great shape.
Mechanical
This Mustang is mechanically sound. The fuel pump was just replaced and the carburetor had a rebuild to replace some leaking gaskets. the C-4 automatic transmission shifts great and the Mustang runs well down the road. The power brakes and power steering work well. The power steering system does have a small leak. The engine compartment is clean and presents well. The air conditioner blows cold and the blower works in all positions. The heater and defroster also work correctly. All of the windows roll up and down as they should. All of the gauges work correctly. The power disc brakes work well.
Overview
This 1967 Mustang coupe is a great example of a well taken care of low mileage classic. It has spent the last 5 years on our Museum floor for all to enjoy. This Mustang needs little to be a great daily driver or weekend show car.
