We bought this vehicle for my 16 year old son, and definitely served it's purpose! Short of the damage to the right front end, the Explorer was in excellent rust-free condition. It still starts on the first try and drives, although should definitely be repaired before driving on the street. It has the 5.0L 302 V8 Engine, AOD Transmission, AWD, Tow Package, Leather Seats, Sunroof - this was a $40,000+ vehicle when purchased new! It was a Florida car up until about 2 years ago when the previous owner moved to Chicago. This was the cleanest Explorer we found in the area by far. It sits with just under 121k miles, has brand new brakes and rotors all around, a 6 month old battery, and is ready to be picked up at any time. The damage is concentrated on the passenger front corner of the vehicle. I am not a mechanic or body shop guy, but believe the following parts (and possibly more) will either need to be fixed or replaced: Hood, Right fender, Right front door, Radiator support, Right fender support, Windshield, Metal panel that is under the windshield going from fender to fender.
