Vehicle Detail

1954 chevy bel air 210 sedan.... this car would be considered a chopped and slammed rat rod. The car itself is a 54 bel air sedan that has been painted and a 6 inch chop to the roof. The exterior of the car has been prepared and painted with an ok job to it. The handles and all the chrome have been sanded and flat satin black. The front of the car has complete working headlights, hi beams and turnsignals with a dent free bumper and a complete grill with chrome teeth. The driverside of the car front panelis clean with no dents. The driverside door is clean outside with some rusting inside under the door, the glass is cracked and has no weatherstripping to it and requires a good slam to shut but does so tightly with make shift door panel. The driver side rear door shuts hard and needs glass fixed with a small dent near the curve of the accent on the car, inside the door has a bit of rust under door and has no make shift door panel. The rear driverside has fender skirts which are bolted on and is pretty smooth with minor scratches. The trunk of the car is solid and intact opens with ease no weatherstripping around it, has make shift handle but works. The inside is carpeted newly and has an air compressor in it for the rear suspension. The inside of the trunk has a 6 inch gap that is not weather proof due to slamming the car this had to be cut out to allow operation of the suspension. The passenger front panel is smooth, no dents. The passenger door is smooth small waves when in light area broken window and shuts hard the stripping in any doors. The rear passenger door minor scratches shuts tight see alittle daylight because there is no weather stripping glass is fully intact. The rear panel fender skirt bolted on straight metal little scratches. The roof is smooth and dent free. The windshield is cracked in the middle and both sides. It is placed in the car under the rear view mirror and is NOT cut to the size. So this definitely needs replaced. The dash is original. There is minor rust on corner of it. The chrome is original and clean for the age. There is an aftermarket Kenwood CD player that works and is loud. The air suspension swith is also integrated in the dash and is easily accessible. The heater is in the glove box and is hooked up to a pull switch on the dash and blows out from under dash. The glove box does not has interior walls it is open to expose the heater. The floor has new carpeting in it and is grey. The subfloor is solid and rust free no holes. The seats are covered and are comfortable No seat belts. The rear seat is covered and is not secured down, the drive shaft is exposed under the seat and would need a tunnel cover over it. The headliner is an metallic insulation and would need replace fullly and completed but is solid. The rear window is intact and totally weather sealed. The car is a 255 straight 6 three speed on the column...shifts smoothly and turns over with key. The motor is in fair condition with 12 volt system in place and new alternator. Small oil leak maybe a two drips here in there. The engine isn't cracked and no leaks around motor. The tires are real whitewalls with great hubcaps that are chrome and very stylish. The brakes work but don't go seventy and expect to stop on dime they are drum brakes and require little pumping to work. No brake fluid leak...No emergency brake. The frame itself has reinforced steel and is solid with your usual wear and surface dirt. the car steering turns nicely No power steering. The brake lights work and the turnsignals work also. The car does shake going down road up front for whatever reason. Replaced the sway links not to long ago. This car is 1954 and is not a show car. For the right person it rides and drives requires some work and care. I would consider this a rat rod and fun weekend driver. SO don't expect a fully dressed ready to go car and show piece. The paint is rough and streaked in some places and some welds can been seen from the chop job. The rearend is slammed also and drops to 2 inches off the ground and 6 inches up when induced. There is a stop block welded to frame so you dont bottom out. The exhausts come out the side and sound great. Please dont bid if you cant have it paid for and transported. Any questions please call or text 570-295-2545 I live in PA please be considerate of the time zone. thank you.
