THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN KENTUCKY. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE BIDDING. DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on one previously owned 2006 Ford Expedition XLT. This Expedition was owned and turned in to us by the Kentucky Division of Housing. This is now considered Kentucky State Government Surplus Property. They have asked us to sell it for them on EBAY. VIN: 1FMPU16546LA78943 GENERAL: This Vehicle is White in color and is a 4-wheel drive. It is a 4-door vehicle and has a lift-gate in the back. The window of the lift-gate will open separately from the lift-gate. The rear window has a wiper and a washer. The engine is a 5.4 Liter V8 Gasoline engine. This Expedition has 170,889 miles on it now. The tire size is: P265/70R17. These tires still have much more than ½ of the tread life remaining. They look ‘almost’ new. This SUV has ‘anti-locking’ brakes but the ABS light is on. The heater works fine and gets good and hot and also the Air Conditioner works great. It gets very cold. I had it on while I was taking these pictures and it was very cold inside when I got back inside of the Expedition. The 4-wheel drive works properly in ALL ranges and shifts properly too. There is an audible "clunk" when it goes into and out of LOW Range, but that IS Normal. DRIVER’S SIDE: Front Fender: It has 4-5 very small chips in the paint. Driver’s Door: There are a couple of very little scratches on it. There may be some residue from the removal of our KY State emblem. Rear Door: It looks to be in pretty good shape. Rear Quarter Panel: There are 3-4 very small chips in the paint. REAR END: Bumper: It has NO major issues and seems to be in good shape. It does have a Receiver Hitch under it. The hitch has hook-ups for a 4-way ‘flat’ plug as well as a 7-way ‘round’ plug. Lift Gate: The glass or window has defroster wires in it. The Black piece under the “FORD” emblem is faded and has some places where most of the paint is gone. Around the edges of this piece, in 2-3 small spots, some of the White paint is blistered up and cracking. It also has a blistered spot under the window. You can not see it with the window in the closed position. PASSENGER’S SIDE: Rear Quarter Panel: It has a little scratch and one chip in the paint that appears to be approx. 3/8” in length. Rear Door: It has 4-5 scratches and chips in the paint. This door also has 3 small dents in it. These dents appear to be door dings from doors opening from other vehicles and striking this door. Between the door glass, on the “C” pillar, (those black strips between the doors) there are 6-8 small dents in those two panels. Front Door: There is one small scratch or maybe it is a scuff, and it is under and behind the door handle. There may be some residue from the removal of our KY State emblem. Front Fender: Only 4-5 small chips in the paint. Plus one long scratch the runs the entire length of this panel. It “May” buff out, as it appears to only be in the clear coating and into the white paint. FRONT END: Bumper: It has Fog Lights and 2 tow hooks in the lower portion of the front end under or in the bumper. The White painted area of the bumper has a few scratches and 2-3 chips in the paint. Grille: It has one ‘rib’ broken and the Chrome trim ring around it looks good but it has just a little ‘pitting’ started. Hood: There are several light scratches. There are 2 small dents in the hood. One is on the front edge just to the passenger side of center and the other is approx. 1/3 of the way up the hood also on the passenger side. The front edge of the hood also has one spot about the size of a dime that has the blistered paint thing. ROOF: There is the factory luggage racks up on the roof but there are no cross pieces connecting them. WHEELS: All four wheels are okay but they could stand to be cleaned up a little better or even repainted. INTERIOR: It is Gray with a Black vinyl mat on the floor throughout. There are cloth front bucket seats with seating for a third person in a third bucket seat. This middle seat has a folding backrest that doubles as an arm rest if no one is using it as a seat. The front seats would look a lot better if they had a good cleaning as there are stains or ground in dirt on all seats. The rear seats are vinyl split folding seats. The driver’s seat is power adjustable and the passengers’ seat is manual. The SUV has Tilt Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Power Door Locks, Power Windows and Power external Mirrors. It has driver and passenger side Airbags. Rear window washer and wiper control on the stick behind the steering wheel where the front wipers are also controlled. The dash has full instrumentation and AM/FM/CD/Cassette. Also it has Air Conditioning, but NO rear Air Conditioning, as such. There is a button in the dash for the ‘rear window defrost’ which also includes and defrosts the rear side window on the passengers’ side. Cup holders and the ashtray slide out and the cigarette lighter and the 12-Volt Power Supply are on the door of the slide out piece. Over the front seats are double sun visors and each one has a covered vanity mirror in it. The rear seats fold down and then you can pull a strap under them and they kind of squat on down for a little more storage or cargo space. The Cargo Area has NO provisions for a Third Row Seat. The cargo area does have a 12 Volt Power Supply and 4 cup holders built in. There is a full size spare under the back of the SUV. The tire jack is in the rear of the Cargo Area in the floor under that door in the floor. I had this SUV running while these pictures were being taken. Then I drove it for about 3 - 4 miles. It runs very well and the transmission does not slip and it shifts properly and very smoothly. The engine does Not drip, leak, rattle or smoke. It is quiet and strong. The transmission does Not leak or act funny. It has solid shifts and seems to be in good condition. PLEASE INSPECT ALL PHOTOS CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING.
