1980 Chevrolet Corvette car shows 29xxx miles title shows 126000 so its rolled over before. The previous owner i got this car from had it for 10 years he lived 50 miles from me. Weve put 3000 miles on it over the last 6 months of owning it. Heres what the previous owner told me He had a new Jasper 700r transmission put in with the correct conversion kit at a cost of 2600 New Quadrajet Carb and radiator at same time. This was a special order car when new with Red and White interior and rectangular headlights not the round ones like most Vettes have. Check the pic I thought this was a cool feature. Weve changed oil tuned it etc when we bought it. What works Headlights work fine blinkers,tailites and brake lites and the flashers. Heater works but blower doesnt on high gauges work even low fuel light. Dome lite works. Wipers work power windows work but are slow common problem on these cars. Has a aftermarket Kenwood stereo that works fine. Car drives well stops good transmission has a shift kit will bark the tires but does shift too hard for my liking. Engine runs good starts right up never failed to start I have no history on it other than it being a 350 not the original. Mileage unknown Rear end ok does have clunk when you put it into gear but what 33 year old Corvette doesnt. No roars or howls. Interior needs sprucing up and the paint has many scratches and flaws but it looks great going down the road. A/C is missing compressor and brackets and lines. Crager wheels with good tires. Cruise is missing also. Car has a good frame driver side floor has been patched see pic. Please look at the pics ive tried to describe this car as well as i can.
