This auction is for a low mile California ElCamino. It has never had any rust anywhere and has undergone a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. Winter stored in a warm heated garage. The paint is base clear similar to the stock Marina Blue but a little brighter. The interior is all new from CARS inc. The car has an S/S interior (black bucket seats and console and an S/S hood. The rebuilt 283 original V8 is now 292 cubic inches and the transmission has been replaced with a completely rebuilt 700R4 overdrive. The stock floor shift has been converted to work properly with this 4 speed transmission and has the correct plastic indicator to show what gear it's in. Everything works flawlessly. The underside of this car is at least as good as new. The wheels are polished aluminum Rally wheels with the correct hubcaps and the tires are great. The front tires were new last summer because I felt the orignals were a little too small in diameter. The engine has a single Holley 4 barrle carb., a mild camshaft (350 Hp 327 specs) and dual stainless steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The original rear end has been fitted with quality Moser units. Even the inside of the box (below the truck floor has been treated to the base clear paint.) The stereo is a good Blaupunct unit.
